Bridal Visions
This store is a nice store, however the bridal gown selection is not that great. The bridesmaid dress selection is very good, and has a lot of the known designers. The employees there are very friendly and help you find a dress that fits your body type well. Additionally, they have a tuxedo rental place right in the store, so it is nice to be able to get all of your bridal fashion done in one place! I didn't end up buying my gown from them, but got annoying phone calls everyweek wanting me to come back.
Hannelore's Bridal Boutique
This place was HORRIBLE to go to. The woman there are so unhelpful and are so rude. They make you feel very unwelcomed. The dresses are very nice and they have a good selection, but they are also very expensive. I would definitely recommend Ellie's in Old Town over this place. They were even rude to my mother!!! They just moved to a new location, which I have not been too. There old location was kind of cramped and old. Good selection of BM dresses and they also rent tuxedos there.
Ellie's Bridal Boutique
When planning my wedding this was my favorite bridal boutique!! This store has a great selection of wedding dresses at great prices. They also have a huge selection of bridesmaid dresses. They had many different designers of both wedding gowns and BM dresses. The staff (except for the owner) are all so helpful and really make your experience there a nice one. I had been to other stores, but loved the selection here. Watch out for the store owner though, she is very difficult and had my friend in tears over here wedding dress and actually stomped on it.
ZIPS Dry Cleaners
You get what you pay for here. Every garment is $1.75 for cleaning, however, the cleaning job isn't the greatest. Doesn't always get spots out and don't put great pleats back into pants.
Slan Co
Crest cleaners always does a superior job in dry cleaning and always have friendly staff. The the Crest Cleaners I have been to are clean and well lit. They have a great service that you can drop your clothes off even when they are closed...so it is very convenient. They are an expensive cleaners, however there website always has coupons and I receive coupons in the mail.
George Edward Nalls: Allstate Insurance
The prices at this location are great for monthly memberships, however, the beds are kind of old and dirty, and the bulbs are not replaced often. This place is hit or miss.
City Nails
I got tips put on here for my wedding and the next day they were cracked and they were bubbled over. Did not look good at all! I decided to give them a second chance and went back after my wedding to get them filled and showed them the bad work they did for me originally. Even the fills were bad. I will never go back here for nail tips. However, I do like their eyebrow waxing here and have had 1 message there which was very relaxing!
Snips For Beauty
I have been going to Snips for Hair for years. The service is great, the only thing I don't like is that they close early on the weekdays and are not open on Sunday. Ask for Omar-he is great!
Frizzles
I recently went to Frizzles for the first time to get a haircut. The service was great and I received a great haircut. I like this place because it is also open on Sundays and late during the weekdays. It is located at Springfield Mall. They usually have a lot of staff working so it is not hard to schedule an appointment. This shop seems to be well taken care of and is well lit. There seemed to be a lot of regular customers there who seemed pleased.
