this place was pretty good. nothing too special about it. i would recommend this place to people but i didnt buy anything or sign up for any plan with them because i found another place than gave me a slightly better deal with more accessories. if you dont care about accessories too much, this is the place to be. service was decent.
Tung Auto Repair
they work fast and cheap when i needed to get my minivan serviced. they where cool people that put in good parts into my car. i went here before for my son's car and they didnt let me down then. i will be going there again when i need my car's annual service is up again.
Surplus Computers
i love this little place, got all the small gadgets taht i need, good price and even got old computer stuff for when something in my older computers break. very knowledgeable people there. its alttle far for me, but good place to go to wen i need something.
San Jose Municipal Golf Course
my son is currently taking golf class and he does all his practicing here. he goes here once to twice a week to practice. they have a good chipping and sand area to practice. they also have a big putting area with a 2 layered driving range that is aobut 250 yards. their actual course is pretty flat from what i've heard but it seems like a good place to play golf.
Roberts Bookstore
this carries all the books for my son's needs in school and is most of the time cheaper than the one that is on campus he tells me. for an inperson bookstore (not comparing to books online), he always goes here. their service he tells me are also good. would recommend this place for sjsu students who doesnt buy their books online.
Rancho del Pueblo Golf Course
this was a place for beginners. their driving range mats are pretty worn down, even their courses are from what i heard. the first time my son picked up a set of golf clubs was here, he fell in love with the sport, but i dont think it was because of htis place. the also bad thing about this place is that they only have one level driving range, but good thing is that they have a pretty big putting area for practice.
Quickwash Laundry Inc
my washing machine broke down a couple of times so i had to go outside, this was one of the more convient places for me. they arent the cleanest laundromat, but when was the last you saw one. their machines are good and i never have to wait when i go there. price is decent, nothing special
Nettleman, Brian J DDS
all three of my kids got their braces done here. they are more expensive than other places but i chose this place because he is very experienced and has some very talented assistents. they are very flexible on the payment plans and everyone is just nice there.
Ocean Supermarket
their prices are reasonable, and i shop here abot once to twice a month. once of the cleanest and spacious supermarkets out there, asian wise. very good variety of produce, seafood, meats and canned goods. if you need something and price isnt a factor, this is your place, they also have good mango deals every now and then.
Micro Center
i go here often to look at what they are selling. what i really like about this place is their service because they are very knowledgeable at what they are saying. only thing that i have not been too satisfied with this lately is that some of their advertised items never seem to be in stock. besides that, good little place for computer related items.
