Mc Lendon Veterinary Clinic
I took my Boxer here to use the vet at McLendon as his doctor. I liked this vet clinic, because it has an animal friendly atmosphere. You can immediately tell that your pet will be well taken care of, because they are so nice. They always had the items I needed stocked, so I didn't have to make special trips or mail order anything, or even wait for them to, to make my dog well. Their prices are the same as all the other vets around, so there are no minuses there. I will use this vet for any future pets as well.

Haven Tattoo & Body Piercing
I went here a while back when they first opened. A friend of mine had one done here and it looked real professional, so I thought I'd try them out. Their rates aren't bad at all , about average. I haven't had any fading and I didn't have any infection, so, my only concerns were no real concern at all with Haven. They did a great job and it looks awesome.

New Hope Baptist Church
This is a nice church with a friendly congregation. The pastor is a nice individual at that, and will take time to set one on one with you, if you need him to. They gather on Wed. night and Sundays.
They have Sunday school and a nice mix of ages; small children will have interest wth other small children in Sunday school.

Greensboro Body Shop
I had to take a car in to the Greensboro Body Shop before. I had a dent in the side passenger door, and they got it out for me and had it redone; looked like new. They didn't rip me off like a few places I've been to have. They aren't cheap, per se, but they are affordable. I like the attitude of the employees as well, they're nice enough folks.

Twice As Nice Consignment Shop
I sometimes go look for vintage gear. This shop didhn't have any, but it did have a good bit of nice looking clothes. They also buy clothes (not for much, but a little nonetheless) if you're selling. They moslty have women clothes, but they had some men's as well. Saw some baby things too. Of course, the prices are dirt cheap.

Pate Taxidermy
Pate's is a pretty good taxidermist. He's very affordable and does some quality work. Doesn't have sloppy stitches or hairs out of place, or any paint where it shouldn't be. He's not my top taxidermist, but, he would be my second pick.

Carl's Garage & Towing
I like this guy, he knows what he's talking about. He will also tow your vehicle for you to his shop. He is independantly owned, so sometimes it may take a little longer than you expect to have your vehicle back, but, he'll let you know upfront how long it'll be.
He's a good guy; did some work for me when I was a teenager.

Barton's Landscape Inc
Barton's has a little bit of everything in plants and flowers. They have a small variety of garden supplies as well. They offer shrubs, saplings, potted plants, cut flowers, bulbs, and a little bit in between. They aren't too pricey; they are about average for a nursery. They also have a few odds and ends to purchase for a gift. A nice store, one that I like a lot.

G & H Heating and Cooling
G & H Heating & Cooling get the job done. They aren't too expensive and they will give you your money's worth of service. The owner is a pretty cool guy as well, he's pretty nice. They were in and out in no time, though, on my heating system.

Leland Lanes
This is a fun family place. Leland Lanes has several lanes to bowl in. They are affordably priced as well. I used to go here often, and will return. They have a couple of gaming machines for the kids who like to play arcade style games while everyone else bowls.
