They are located at the little white church on Indiana. They are a favorite for senior pictures. I loved working with them, they will work with animals as well. They have unique areas oustide for pictures or you can go downstairs for the indoor pictures. We love them, they are so nice.
If you just want a great deal and want to look around, this is the place for you. Its the big yellow building on Mississippi, the owner will most likely talk to you to get an idea of what you are looking for and take you to a couple of pieces. He will take your number and call you when something you want comes in. He has it all.
I usually check out their stock online about once a week. They take the furniture from hotels that are remodeling and resell it. Usually its all that 70's sort of stuff from motels but every once in a while you find a great piece. Their stuff goes quickly though so you have to jump on it, and they can be hard to find.
I go in there about once a month just to check out what they have. They always have nice furniture, nothing dinged up, and it is at a fairly good price, they can get a bit high for something used but I suppose people are willing to pay. The owner can be rude though, watch out for him. Overall, a place to find that unique piece you've been wanting.
I got a gift certificate for Meininger and discovered that this is the place for any artist. I can't tell you how much stuff they have there, it is like one-stop shopping for an art student. I can tell why they have been around for so long. You have to just go in there to check it out. Parking can be tough though.
When you walk in you won't know which side to go to first. It is a crafter's dream in there, they have just about anything you could want, but they can be a bit expensive. I love all of the different kinds of stamps you could get to make your own cards. So cute!
There is something for everyone. Kids will love their pool with the slide. It was always a favorite. I like their classes and their schedules. They always have a class going when I am able to show up, which is fairly random. I love their aerobics instructors, very energetic and nice.
The tour is fun for families, they let you go into their peppermint room that is so intense you can't stay long. You learn a lot and get some free things in the end. We took a daycare there and all of the kids loved it. It can be hard to find though, outside of Boulder.
You can take a few different tours. Most of the time you walk in and get the regular tour that ends in the shop, with a free drink. You can also get the long tour that is a couple of hours and they take you inside and let you really see everything. The regular tour is interesting, a bit long when all you want is that free drink. Otherwise just take the elevator straight to the shop.
It is at the peak of lookout mountain and when you go in there, you are surrounded by all kinds of little knick-knacks to buy that are very Colorado. Everything is outdoorsy and Davey Crockett-ish. Its a place to take tourists.
