My family has been taking their cars to Inwood Car Care for years and we are consistently pleased with the service. All of the employees are friendly and helpful and fully explain what the problem is with your car and how they are going to fix it. I always feel that I am getting an honest opinion from the mechanics at Inwood Car Care and they don't try to get you to buy things that you don't need such a new wipers and an air filter. We have been using Network Interstate for many years for all of our promotional items. We have a small business and promoting it is very important to us. The staff at Network Interstate always take their time to work with us and make sure that we are getting the best product for our money. They offer their opinons but ulitmately let us chose which items would be best for our business and never try to push items on us that we do not need. Their turn around time is quick and we are always pleased with the quality of the products.
Summerwind
We moved into the Summerwind Apartment complex in July of 2005 and have been very pleased so far. The complex is brand new and the insides of the units are really beautiful. We have crown molding, tall ceilings, a HUGE island in the kitchen, garden tub, washer and dryer and ample closet space. The complex is well maintained and most of the residents are professionals and families. There is a nice gym and it is never crowded. The office staff is attentive and responsive to problems. Also, the location can't be beat! The apartments are located in the Silverlake area of Pearland. Everything you need, from food, to shopping, to a movie theater is within 10 minutes! Gables CityScape
This is by far the best apartment complex I have ever lived in! The complex is well maintained both inside and out. I was always proud to bring friends over because the grounds always look beautiful. The inside of the apartment homes was remodeled recently to include wood laminate flooring in the kitchen and entry way, two-tone paint schemes, crown molding, and mirrored dining rooms. We lived in the back of the complex near the garage, so there was always ample parking. However, the same can not be said for the people who live near the front of the complex. The leasing and management staff were attentive and helpful and the maintainance staff was top notch. Also, the apartment is located in a fabulous part of town! Everything you could possibly need is only a short distance away!
Beautiful U Bridal
Arlene at Beautiful U was one of my favorite wedding vendors. She was recommended to me by a friend and I have since recommended her to countless others! I lost 20 pounds before my wedding. She did a fabulous job altering my dress, and it fit like a glove! She also altered my mother's dress for the wedding and she looked stunning! Arlene was so friendly and patient. She became more of a friend than a vendor. I highly recommend Beautiful U!
SSQQ
My father and I signed up for dance lessons at SSQQ before my wedding and I am so glad we did! The instructor was fabulous and was very patient with both my father and I. Two, one-hour sessions was plenty of time to learn the steps to our father daughter song. We definitely wowed everyone at the reception! I have since recommended SSQQ to numerous friends and they always call me raving about it! Definitely check out SSQQ is you are looking for dance instruction!
Oaks Christian Church
Oaks Christian Church is a medium sized church located in the Garden Oaks part of Houston. The church is Disciples of Christ (First Christian) denomination. Everyone there is very friendly and welcoming to guests and newcomers. There are various classes and activities for all age groups, from children to elders. While the church is for the most part progressive in its thinking, the services are traditional Christian services. (ie no loud music). If you are looking for a fun, new place to worship definitely give Oaks Christian Church a try!
NAAVA Salon and Spa
This was the first salon/spa I visited when I moved to Austin. I was less than impressed with the facility, the service, and the atmosphere. The woman at the front desk was pretty rude, and acted like answering my questions was a waste of her time. The facility itself was overwhelming and cramped, not relaxing at all. I was there for a bikini wax (which I had been doing for 5 years continuously, so this was not my first time) I specifically told the woman that I prefer hot wax, and sure enough she used cold. It was the most painful experience I have ever had and I cried the entire time. She did not appologize and when I spoke to the front desk about the situation, the refused to give me a discount or anything of the sort. I would not recommend this spa to anyone. There are plenty of other fabulous salons in Austin, don't waste your time as Aziz.
Houston Camera Exchange
I go to the Houston Camera Exchange for supplies and advice. The salespeople are knowledgable about photography and always willing to take the time to help out a newbie. They have a great selection, and always have new things. I have also shopped here for a wedding album, it was great to see all the mats and covers up close and in person.
Trendy Jewelry
This store has a very large selection of inexpensive costume jewelry, and silver jewelry. Some of the jewelry isn't the greatest quality, but if you take the time to look, there are some really good finds. I bought earings for my bridesmaids here and they all LOVED them! I didn't tell them that the earrings only cost $5.00 a pair! This is also a great store to take a young girl and let her buy jewelry to her hearts content, because you can get so much for your money.
