Attended a birthday party for one of my son's friends there. I didn't know how many things they had to do there. In addition to the miniature golf course, there are batting cages, a small arcade, a moonwalk and water balloon fight area, complete with launchers. It was a lot of fun for the kids and had plenty of room to accomodate a large party (outside) but I felt that the facility in general could us a little face lift.
Cute lttle shop carrying mainly supplies for beading crafts. A fairly impressive array of beads, as well as magazines and pattern books. They teach classes on beading, with a basic course being offered regularly on the 2nd Tuesday and 4th Saturday of each month. In addition to the beading supplies, they have a hodge-podge of other things for sale in the shop including some antiques and craft works completed by other people. Friendly staff. Worth a trip if you are into beading or would like to learn.
This is a great shop, wish it were a little closer to me. They have just about anything you could possibly need for cake decorating and most things reuired for candy making. Nice selection of books. Service has always been friendly, both in person and on the phone. My biggest complaint is the size of the store. It is fairly small for the amount of stuff they have, making getting around inside precarious at times. Definitely not a place to bring small children, there's just too much to get into. But, if you are looking for something for cake decorating that you can't find at you local craft store, chances are they'll have it.
Nothing fancy about this shop, but they do a nice job with simple alterations at a reasonable price. I have not had cause to use their custom tailoring services but they do have some nice pieces on display. Friendly service, with the alterations completed correctly and on time. Child friendly service.
I am so glad that this place was recommended to me by a friend. My son is in their Pre-K program, 3 days a week and loves it there. He did a Mother's Day Out program there last year and was equally happy. One of the very best things I can say about this place is that I know my son is safe there. The doors are all pass coded and there is closed circuit monitoring of each classroom, visible form the front desk. Staff will question any adult on the premises that they don not recognize and ask for I.D., as well as verification from the child a person indicates they are there to pick up. The ciriculum is wonderful and my son is learning so much. They expanded to includ up to grade 3 this year and currently offer a wonderfully small calss size, giving each child lots of attention. The owners, Marc and Lori, are very involved in the business, often on the premises and are not afraid to make changes is something is not working. If you need a place for your child, whether for daycare, MDO or private schooling, this is the place.
Friendly and honest, family run automotive shop. Unfortunately, we have had cause to use their services alot this year and they have been consistently wonderful. Each time I have brought a car in they have handled the diagnostics and repair in a timely manner, keeping me updated by phone, and providing a full explanation of everything they needed to do. Rick Simms, the owner, makes a point of personally speaking to you regarding the problems with your car and what he would and would not advise doing. There have been times when he has told me he could do more, but that he didn't think it was necessary. "Ihave done as much as I would for my car" he'll say, rather than charging an arm and a leg for unneeded work. He has even cut some labor off the cost of repairs for me when he wasn't able to definitively diagnose a problem.
We have never used the grooming services here, but have made use of their boarding services, and will again if the need arises. They have a unique set-up with the dogs in an "open concept" space. Dogs are separated by size, but are then allowed to intermingle in homey space (i.e. couches, rugs, even tvs) with human supervision during the day, only being locked up during feeding and at night. When I toured the facility, Adam showed me around and introduced me to each pet on the premises by name and obviously knew a lot about each animal.
This was the perfect solution for the 5 dogs that I needed to board. They were able to stay together, play with other dogs and get lots more attention that they would in a regular kennel in a 4x8 run. SInce they aren't trying to keep all of the dogs separated, they are also able to give them more outdoor time. Pricing was very reasonable, more expensive than a simple 4x8 run, but not as expensive as some of the fancy "pet resorts" where your dog still won't get this kind of attention, even weh you pay extra.
This practice now includes 3 doctors, Dr. Deborah Gant, Dr. Jason Decker and Dr. Iris Hanna. Dr. Gant has been my son's pediatrician since birth, but we have seen all 3 doctors at various times. While Drs. Decker and Hanna are somewhat more personable than Dr. Gant, I wouldn't hesitate to have my child seen by any of them. They are all very thourough and caring, and well versed in what they do. The only real drawback is that there is usually a long wait.
Family Counselor Sue Hewitt is fantastic. Approachable and easy to talk to. Unlike some couselors I have met in the past who seem to have a very condescending attitude, Sue never came across as judgemental. Her office is very soothing and comfortable. Works with many insurance companies and sees children, adults and families.
First Command Representative Jerre Baker runs this office. She provides good, down to earth advice that fits into your financial reality. Recommendations are backed up by research and clear explanations to help even those relatively unschooled in financial management understand all the pros and cons. As First Command expands its business, they are offering most types of insurance as well as investment services.
