Unfortunately, I have had to go to several funerals during the past few years and most of them were at the Fogelsanger Bricker Funeral Home. My family was always taken good care of and our wishes were respected. All the people that work there are very professional and will assist you with everything you need during this very trying time.
The Pros is a semi-nationwide company that serves different areas in the eastern US. In the Central PA area, they have a bunch of different guys that you can choose from. They do lots of the wedding shows around so that gives you a chance to see them in action. They were very professional, followed the guidelines we set up, and worked very well in getting the crowd going. We got many compliments. Their prices were also very reasonable.
I have purchased things here for myself and my wife but the best shopping experience I had here was making up a gift basket for two friends that were getting married. They have a great selection of toys and DVDs to choose from. Definitely check them out.
H&H did work for us on our home and also at a townhouse that we own. The technicians were both on time and they thoroughly explained what was wrong. When the air still wasn't working at the townhouse that we owned, they squeezed us in quickly and only charged us for the repair that needed done since he had to come out again. It's a great small company to work with.
Spherion has been great to work with. I was sick of my job in retail management that I've been with for four years. I don't have experience elsewhere and I am still working on my degree so it was hard to get anyone to give me a chance. Spherion got me into some interviews and I found a great job that I hope to be at for the next several years while I finish my degree.
The AACA Museum is a great place to visit if you're in the area. It's right down the road from Hershey Park which makes it very convenient to get to. I'm not a big car buff but I took my dad who is and we both had a lot of fun. I learned a lot from him too. They also hold banquets and receptions here. I haven't been to one but it's a beautiful space that I would definitely check out.
The Fire Museum is a really cool place to visit. I have to admit that I was a little disappointed when I went. I had really high expectations since my brother in law is a firefighter in New York City. It is a really cool place though and I learned a lot about the city of Harrisburg as well (I am a transplant). Definitely something to check out in town if you have some extra time but I wouldn't make an extra trip for it.
I have always been very interested in history, the Civil War in particular. The National Civil War Museum is a great place to spend a day. I was there for several hours and didn't even get through everything (I'm a big reader of everything they have). It really takes you back in time to hear the stories and see the artifacts. Highly recommended for any age.
The Spa at Hotel Hershey is first rate. Everyone needs a day every once in awhile to relax and indulge and on that day, this is where you should be. They have a huge menu of spa services fitting for a woman or a man. If you're biggest dream is to be covered in chocolate, they can make that dream come true.
Country Gifts N Such is a qauint little gift shop right in the center of town. They have sorts of little knick knacks and handmade items. You're bound to find something special and unique for whoever you're looking for.
