Life Long Dental Care
I was mistaken about the earlier review. It's actually someone else that I meant to rate. So, please ginore what I wrote and move onto my review of Dr DANIELSON instead
Tolland Middle School
I graduated from here in 1995 and know that there are a lot of the same teachers here that were here when I attended. It was pretty good experience. Most of the teachers are genuinely interested in helping the students become educated and of course, there were some lethargic and disinterested teachers too, but in general you can feel like your child is getting a good education here.
Fitchville Baptist Church
Avoid this place like it was the plague. People who go here come out with crazed notions and act like they have joined a cult. I have experienced prejudice and outright disrespect for my own beliefs from people who attend this church. If you want to alienate people and make them at best think you should be committed, feel free to step inside and begin the process.
St Matthew's Church
This is the church that I grew up with and was a nice once. I didn?t like how long they kept us in the religious instruction course. I was there until I was a senior in high school, but overall they were a very open minded church and if you?re Catholic I?d recommend going here even if you?re in an adjacent town.
Penn State
This part of the library occupies the whole of the fourth floor of the Paterno portion of the library. The books are arranged in a little bit more of an awkward way than on the floor above it. I was a psychology graduate student and when I had to get a source about the brain, they?d usually have it here, but it wasn?t always quickly found.
Books & Birds
This is like a used book depot. There are books scattered all over the place, but surprisingly they are also nicely organized. If you have a lot of time to kill go ahead and take a look at their offerings. You can find some incredible deals here. They also buy and sell textbooks, which is unusual for a used book store.
Buck A Book
This is a pretty good bookstore. Certainly the price of the books is just right. There are many good deals. The only problem is that the stock of books isn?t always the best. It looks deceiving looking in, but then you notice that many of the books are just repeats of the ones stacked near it. If you have a specific need you?d be better at a chain, but if you just want any old book, come here.
Growing Tree Toys
This is an interesting little toy store for both kids and adults. I?m especially into puzzles and interesting board games and they have them in abundance at Growing Tree. You can see a lot of adults in here without any children (they looks like students, so one would hope at least) who are standing in line at the cash register. Go here if you?re roaming around downtown State College and don?t have anything else to do.
Nittany Line Hobbies & Toys
If you have kids, I would recommend going to this store. They have a lot of educational toys and for reasonable prices. I went in here to look around when I was stuck in the shopping plaza waiting for someone. There were a lot of interesting toys all over. I wasn?t interested in purchasing anything, but I would have if I had kids. These are the kinds of toys you?d want them to learn from.
Ordnance Museum Foundation
This is one of the little known attractions in Harford County. It?s free to get in and once inside you can see a whole lot of military ordnance. They have short descriptions talking about each piece and they are very informative. Don?t miss the upstairs where there?s weapons and ammunition galore. These only have names though and not descriptions. I?m fascinated by military history and this museum gave me a nice glimpse.
