They have far more art supplies here than you could ever possibly need. The prices reflect that, and are often high, but they have outstanding customer service. Parking is always an issue where they are near Kirkwood, but you can easily walk it from campus. The vibe in here is very mellow, if I remember right they used to have a cat running around. The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable.
The prices here are generally expensive, but they have a great selection of shoes and sporting goods. Also have an excellent selection of backpacks here. Their parking is adequate, with a good location on 3rd street. They advertise that you shouldn't pay mall prices, but they aren't any cheaper. Their employees are knowledgeable though, especially about running shoes.
This place has the best selection of shoes in the Haute for a decent price. It's kind of hard to find from 3rd street, but once you're there it's worth it. They have a small parking lot and sometimes run out of sizes quick because they don't have a huge amount of stock on hand (I don't think) but they are very knowledgeable about their products.
The value is here. They have a number of nights with cheaper than usual bowling, and everyone is pretty nice. The snacks could be better, but overall pretty good. There is a huge parking lot and the location is good if you live near the south side. It is very smokey inside, but that's to be expected from a bowling alley. The employees are sometimes short with people they don't know, but it's generally a good place.
The selection here isn't what it could be, but they are excellent people, who have only recently started their business and are doing quite well. great customer service. The location is very good and could be walkable from campus, and is definitely walkable from the campus apartments. The people are all really nice, but sometimes they run out of stuff because they don't keep a huge amount of stock on hand.
From the outside this place looks like it is going to be a terrible motel, however it is actually quite nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Great value. There is plenty of parking and the rooms exit to the outside, which can be both good and bad. You can get connecting rooms, and the ownership and employees are all very very helpful.
Great cigars here, decent prices, excellent quality of customer service. They also have an enormous selection of luggage and bags, but I don't know much about that. There is usually adequate parking on the square, and the employees are nice. The atmosphere is really cool because it has that distinct fine tobacco smell combined with a smell of leather from all the high end luggage they carry. Not a place to just shop, but if you need cigars, luggage, or man things like flasks and blade razors, this is your place in bloomington.
This place has a ton of glass pipes for great prices. Everyone is very cool here, great vibe, great customer service, whatever you do don't say the "b" word The parking is decent, but the people are amazing. The ambience is cool, what you would expect from a great head shop. One time I was there and the employees pit bull was running around, which might be initially scary, but it was really nice and friendly. I can't say enough positive things about this store.
This place has a pretty good pipe selection. They are all nice people, with good products. The Ms. Pac-Man game there is gone though, which is pretty sad. The decorations are pretty cool, about what you'd expect from a head shop, but cool. Parking is sometimes a problem because it is on Kirkwood, but unless it's a school day you should be fine. The prices are fair, and they have a lot of different types of bowls.
This place has a surprisingly good music selection. If you're looking for more headshop type stuff, you're better off going to Indianapolis, but decent overall. the location would be cool if Terre Haute weren't so lame downtown now, but it's still cool. The parking lot is kind of small so you might have to park on the street. The people are nice, but they're also not going to bend over backwards to help you if they don't know you.
