The used cd's and movies they have constitute a good collection, but the prices aren't much better than new ones. I wouldn't really recommend it too much. There isn't really any good place to park, but it is in a great area of Kirkwood. Really, as high as their prices are I don't know how they stay in business in such a great section of Kirkwood. The customer service is pretty decent, but ultimately you're going to pay as much for a used cd as you would for a new one at a chain store.
This place has a good selection, and pretty decent prices. There is also a 10% off coupon that works for kegs in the OU directory, which is nice if you're making a big order. The location isn't great, it's out past 12th on Alameda, and the parking lot is surprisingly small, but this isn't usually a big problem there. The employees are helpful and they are always stocked with massive amounts of a huge variety of alcoholic beverages.
This liquor store is outstanding. They have a great selection, great prices, and the people are all very knowledgeable. If you want a high quality beer or liquor, great place. They have a huge stock so they almost never run out of anything, the employees are tremendously helpful, and there is plenty of parking. They are a ways from campus, but they are near a lot of other things on Main street so the location is still pretty good.
They have a decent selection here, with average prices. All of the people are nice, but there seems to be a lot of harassment from excise at this place. The selection is mediocre and they frequently run out of a certain item, but the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. It is one of the closer stores to campus, but if you're actually ON campus you'd be better off going to Campus Liquors, especially on a game day when the Lindsey traffic is terrible.
If you ever need anything in immigration law regarding a visa or green card, talk to these guys. They are brothers and are both great quality attorneys. They are on main so you'll have to park on the street, but there is a fair amount of parking. The offices aren't super nice, but they're about what you would expect for a norman law office and very clean and well kept up.
If you want porn videos in Terre Haute, this is your place. They have tons of porn, although I can't recall how their prices are. If you don't like internet porn, go here. The customer service here is decent, but kind of weird, and it's in a rather shady area of town. If you're the type of person that frequents shady porn places, it's great for you, but for the rest of you you might want to steer clear. Also, there is limited parking.
If you want to buy random OU stuff, you'll find it here, but it's really expensive and generally useless crap. It's more expensive for shirts than the bookstore, if you can believe that. If you want to possibly have trouble parking (on Boyd Street), get mediocre service, and buy some usless junk with a fraternity logo on it for way too much, this is your place.
This place has a lot of cool used books in a socially conscious atmosphere. I believe the bulk if not all of their profits go to sending books to prison inmates, so it's a good cause. The location is in the downtown/square area, although it's a few blocks from Kirkwood and sometimes hard to find if you don't know exactly where it is. There is a fair amount of prking for its location, and the people working there are all really cool.
this place is fun. You can go and get nice and drunk, watch a good band, have fun. On the slower nights it's still cool because you can play darts and enjoy whatever special they have.
People make fun of the Vista, but it's pretty cool. The atmosphere isn't bad at all if you go on up. Grab yourself a window seat, drink some beers, and look down on Norman. Cool.
