My Sister's Attic
This is a used clothing store with some nice designer clothes but the prices are a little steep for used. It is nicely laid out though and the sales girls are helpful. I have never purchased anything here because I've found I can find alot better deals around town.
Old Brick House Furniture
Really cool furniture store with 3 stories to sort through. I really like this place when you want a different piece of furniture. They have so much stuff, it takes all day . You will pay a little more but chances are you will find what you were looking for. I especially like all the different accessories around. The sales people are a little pushy but if you ignore them, they will go away.
Petite Sophisticate
It's hard for us shorter women to find classy looking suits. This store carries some extremely classy suits and dresses designed for the shorter working woman. Also some nice sportswear. They have some great sales, so be on the lookout. Regular price is a little steep. Women working in here are very helpful
Color Trends Hair Salon
I have visited here on three different occasions and had excellent results everytime. They even helped me find the right shampoo for my hair which I always had a hard time with before. They are a bit far away from where I live, so I don't go there regularly, but I highly recommend this salon.
Clothing Depot
A slightly high priced men's store, they carry all the normal fair. The store is large and clean. The staff was not all that helpful. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, so I don't want to give them a really bad rating. I didn't find anything that I couldn't buy at most department stores for less.
Wireless World
Very large cellular store, they carry almost any brand you can think of. They will hook you up to a service that really fits your needs and they have a lot of no contract no credit check phones, so you don't have to worry about signing your life away. Every phone style you can imagine. If you have kids, this is the way to get them a phone while being able to limit their talk time.
Fiber Factory Inc
The best selection of yarn I have ever seen, this store is a must if you knit or crochet. Every color and texture of yarn you could think of and the women working there are so helpful. Only open 5 days a week (closed on Sunday and Monday)
Midwestern Meats
I don't care what kind of supposed steak you buy at the grocery store, it will not compare to the meat here. It melts in your mouth and these are the best butchers in the world. They will cut any size or kind of meat for you and they will help you to know what the best cut is even if it isn't as expensive. I buy 90% of my meat here and will continue to do so for as long as I live in Phoenix.
Gold Mine Thrift Store
It's a bit of a drive, but this is a nice thrift store run by a church that has really really, low prices. I can usually almost buy a new wardrobe everytime I go here. The do have some household items and things but it is mostly clothes. They are closed part of the summer.
Shell
You are going to pay a little more here, but they do fantastic detail work and they spend quite awhile making sure the job is done just right. I never feel funny taking the car in by myself, they all treat me very friendly and listen to what I have to say.
