My husband sent me flowers to work for our 2nd anniversary this year. He picked this florist off the internet. I received a pretty arrangement of hydrangeas and lilies. I thought the flowers were very fresh and were very beautiful. When I brought them home for the weekend, my husband was dissapointmented because he felt that they weren't worth the $60 that he had paid. After knowing the price, I would have to agree. There were only about 4 hydrangeas and some small lilies and in medium sized vase so for that amount, it did not seem very plentiful. I would recommend asking in advance how many flowers will be included in the price.
We stumbled upon this store while going out to dinner. The large sign outside said "Everything $7.98 or less" Intrigued, we went in. Wow! They had everything from T-shirts to varsity jackets for your favorite sports teams for $7.98. We were dumbfounded. Quickly, we purchased several items for my husband and my father. Besides sports team clothing, they also have activewear and shirts/sweaters. The quality is very decent and an amazing buy. Everytime we are in the mall now, we have to stop by. Also, they have a great return policy and can return items for up to a year!
We have been going to the wine library before their renovation last year. They always had reasonable prices but with their updated store, there are now a can't miss. The selection is amazing. There are two floors of wine and spirits. The ground floor has basic wines, hard liquor and beer. The second floor houses the more expensive wines in a beautiful environment. It truly is a world class liquor store and remarkably, their prices did not increase significantly after their renonvation. You can still get a bottle of wine from $6 to the sky's the limit!
I was recommeded to Mountain Mortgage from a lawyer so I figured it would be a good recommendation. It was! Mountain mortgage had the best rates that we had seen during our review. Additionally, they were so easy to work with and reviewed our application very quickly. They responded to all our questions (and trust me, there were many!) in a timely manner. We had a relatively short closing - under 1 month and they were able to accomodate us very easily. Their fees were reasonable - $620. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and plan to use them again!
We used Robert Kopnicki as our real estate lawyer when we purchased our home about 1 year ago based on a recommendation from our real estate agent. We were disappointmented with a few things from the start. As first time home buyers, we didn't feel that he pushed us to ask for things based on our home inspection and in fact, discouraged us for demanding repairs. Additionally, he did not tell call to tell us that we were out of attorney review but sent a letter so for several days, we were in limbo because we hadn't heard anything. Ultimately, our closing went off without a hitch but some upfront help would have been desired.
We looked at several photographers before I found Steve based on a referrel from a wedding website. His website shows many beautiful and different photos which caught my eye. We met with him about 1 year before our wedding to discuss a package. He had many options for packages and we chose the highest package- approximately $3200 which included an engagement session, all day wedding coverage, an album for us, two parents albums and some additional photos. Compared to many photographers, this was the best rate we received. Steve was a pleasure to work with during the day and was very unobstrusive. We received our proofs within 1 month after the wedding and we had many to choose from. Our album was completed within the quoted time frame of about 3 months and we were extremely happy with the end product.
We used European Florist for our wedding day. My mother and I went with several pictures from magazines that we liked and the owners worked with us to come up with designs that were like our favorites but were within our budget. Once we decided, they made samples for us so we could make sure that we really liked our decision. We ended up doing all red rose centerpieces (approximately 18 in each centerpiece) for approx $60 per centerpiece. My bouquet was approximately 24 red roses and was beautiful. I received compliments the entire day and for many more after. They were on time with delivery and we didn't note any errors with our order. I would recommend them to anyone.
This vendor was included in our wedding package at the Old Orchard Manor. About two months before the wedding, we went to the cake shop to pick out the style of cake. They had several books of designs to choose from. I liked different elements of a few cakes and they were able to mix and match to make the cake of my dreams. I had chocolate with chocolate filling- can you tell that I love chocolate! We received many compliments on the cake at the wedding. On our one year anniversary, I called the cake shop to order a replica of the top tier (since we ate ours the day after the wedding) to be delivered as a surprise for my husband. They were so helpful and didn't even charge me for the cake. I would recommend them to anyone
We had our wedding at the Old Orchard two years ago. We worked with Lynne, the banquet manager througout the process. She was very easy to work with and accomodated many of our requests without hesitation. THe place is beautiful. It is very different because it has two rooms attached. The main room where tables are set is very nice but the great addition, is the outdoor tent room. It is great to set up your band or DJ outside and then the people who do not want the loud noise can stay in the main room. We did the deluxe buffet dinner which had a selection of stations for meals prepared to order and everyone loved it. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
I visited this store while looking for bridal gowns. When I walked in, I was a bit intimated because the dresses were brand names (Vera Wang, Jude Waddell, etc) and very expensive. I did not feel that the salespeople were very open and they did not encourage me to try on any of the dresses. They did have a small rack sale in the back of the store. There dresses were previously floor models of the designer gowns that were on sale for about 50% off. However, many were slightly dirty or had minor imperfections. Most brides want everything to be perfect on their day and arent willing to scrimp to get a semi-used dress. I would only recommend going here if you are planning on spending a lot on your wedding dress.
