Primary Pediatric Medical Grp
I've been taking my kids to Primary Pediatrics since my first child was born and I've always been impressed by their staff. The Doctors are great and extremely patient (my wife tends to ask a lot of questions). They understand that your child is your most precious gift and they treat them as such. They are very open to alternative parenting and will address your questions about most of these subjects in depth.

a starving geek
We called a starvng geek after having some serious lag problems with one of our computers. The prices were fantastic! I t was actually cheaper to have someone come out to do the repair than it would have been to take it just about anywhere in the city. He fixed up the box, explained what the problem was to my wife, and was out the door quikcly and easily. Great service, I've already told a bunch of my friends about it.
PROS: To your door service

Techs On Call LLC
I wasn't impressed by Techs On Call. Whiel it is a good service if you need someone to come to your home or business to do repairs in the end you get less service and pay more money. Having been an IT professional for several years I know how long these types of repairs take (I just don't have time to do them for my entire office) but these guys sure took their sweet time and were not good about answering questions that some of my people had. They did do a good job and got everythign done that we asked but in the end I would not go with them again.
PROS: On site repair
CONS: Expensive, somewhat poor service
Golden Tee Golfland
I've taken my family here nearly a dozen times and there is always something to keep all of us entertained. I heard about Golden Tee years ago from a friend of mine and work and I'm so glad that I finally decided to go. The golfing was sooo much fun, no pressure, good family environment. When it was all done we headed over to the arcade and had even more fun. It was just a blast and the kdis now ask to go there as if it was Disneyland!

Ob/gyn Associates-San Fransico
My wife and I went here when we were having our first child and it is a superb facility with a great staff of MDs. They are not as obtrusive about things as other places can be and my wife simply loved it there. They go out of their way to make the patient feel comfortable and supported and they will talk to you in depth about any issues you have.
PROS: Nice place with good Doctors
CONS: Nothing.
Gina Khan Salon
My wife goes there every two weeks and it is the highlight of her weekend. She really enjoys being pampered, especially on a budget! I've been in with her before and gotten some work done and the staff is fantastic. It's a nice little place with a very friendly environment. I know we will continue going there for years!

VCA All Pets Hospital
This place is fantastic! My dog had a serious health problem one night and I had to get help quickly. I called 15 minutes after their offices had closed, and luckily, someone answered the phone. They let me come in (by the time I got there it had been officially closed for almost 45 minutes) and they got their entire remaining staff helping out my precious puppy! They got the dog back out and in my house within 2 days and she has been in great health since. Just a super place!
PROS: Awesome staff and service

Rasputin Records
I like Rasputin, they have great sale prices on used stuff and sometimes older stock recordings. It's way less expensive than any chain in the area and the staff, while snobbish in their own indie way, really do know their music. I've found a lot of good underground independent rock for exceptionally good prices and whenever I go back to SF I stop by.

Highland Theater
Like other reviewers have said, this theater looks pretty beat up from the outside, but once you go in the doors it is a whole different story. It is well maintained, almost immaculate, the staff is great, the theater floor is amazingly not sticky, it's just a cool little place in a location where you wouldn't expect it.
PROS: Good prices and clean

Santa Monica Pier Aquarium
Every year I take my nephews to the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium and they always have a great time. Even as they get older it always manages to hold their interest. You can get so up close with these sea animals it almost feels like you're inside the tank and living in their world, it's awesome! It's always fun to hang out at the pier but I feel like I've missed something if I don't get a chance to goto the aquarium.
PROS: Fun and informative
CONS: Can get very crowded at times
