Mitsuwa is a really nice japanese supermarket. They have a lot of good produce here. The prices are decent and a little on the pricey side, but the quality of every item are good. The parking lot is okay. It usually doesnt take too long finding a spot, since people don't really shop that long in a small store anyways.
i use to go here alot when i was a kid. It's a really great store with a ton of fresh produce at terrific prices. The parking is rather large, but parking is always an issue. That's the main reason why i don't go there anymore. Plus, the location is at a really busy intersection too. The cashier line is really quick too since they have more than 10 checkouts. At least 5 or 6 are usually open.
PROS: Express Checkouts
This is one of the few asian supermarkets that i shop for food at. Most of the time, their fruits are at its juiciest and plump condition. They often have fresh vegetables here. They have nice deals on their canned goods and snacks. Their meat produce tends to be fresh as well. They have good service at the meat department.
PROS: good quality of produce
The first time to Boomers was quite an experience. They had a good variety of games and attractions. The bumper boats were okay. it was a little hard to steer. The best part of this place was the go-karts. Everyone was having a good time here. I would go back again.
This place is cheap and they give you a study book which the lady that owns the place is the author and a take home exam with the answers to the quizzes per chapter. The answers for the final exam is not provided but it's open book and you do it at your own pace, so it should be a cinch. The parking lot is very small, so you might have to park on the streets. However, the street parking gets pretty full too. When you're done, they give you the certificate right away.
The parking lot is fairly big, but it's always so crowded during the afternoons and evenings. When I look across the street at Bank of America, there's hardly a line for the ATMs. And i know it's not because they don't have much customers, because almost everyone banks at B of A. Avoid going to this location during the day time.
CONS: Too crowded
I came here to buy some photo papers and film for my photography class. The prices are reasonable, however, they do not give student discounts like other places. The minimum you have to spend to use your credit card is $15. The parking lot is small, but if you go in the morning, it should be okay.
This office does pretty much everything from the most thorough eye exams to LASIK consultations/post-ops. The Optometrist is excellent with a great sense of humor. The staff and service is outstanding. There is a wide selection of frames to choose from. I would highly recommend visiting this office.
PROS: Excellent Optometrist
I took my car here for an oil change and to have my brakes checked. The service was extremely slow. I had to wait for more than an hour. When they were done, they told me some unnecessary problems that needed to be replaced such as my rotors. They said it was the wrong size. They gave me a quote which was overpriced. I later had a friend check my rotors for me and he said it was fine. I wouldn't recommend going to this place.
CONS: not trustworthy
It was my first quarter here and so for i had 3 terrific professors. They all seem to know they're stuff and they make the lectures fun. The parking isn't so bad, plus they are in the process of building a new parking structure. The bad thing about the campus is that sometimes it smells like cows and horses.
