They do beautiful photography. We have an appointment with them to have some pictures taken for personalized Christmas Cards. Their work is very unique and you can see the proofs immediately. Their sitting fees are surprisingly good and they have package deals right now for Christmas.
Total Communication Systems
We needed to change our cell phone provider to Cingular and I wanted to buy a new phone so we did both at Total Communications. They explained all the different plans and we picked one that would work best for us. They were friendly and helpful and I got my Nokia phone.
Massey Tax Svc
I never cared much for H & R Block, so we've always used local tax preparers. Last year we had Massey Tax Service file for us and we'll use them again this year. They're good at finding deductions and had us in and out of there fast.
Landreth's Appliance Service
Our Whirlpool Washer broke down right after the warranty had expired (no surprise there). We heard that Landreth did good work on repairs so we had them fix it. It wasn't as expensive as we thought it would be and they had it back to us pretty quickly. We'd definitely use them again.
Freemans Detail Shop
We bought my wife's car used and although we got a great price on it, it was filthy, so we took it to Freeman's to be detailed. It looked liked a totally different car when they were done. The price was a little high, but they did an excellent job and were fast .
Green Leaf Flowers
On our wedding anniversary, I went to Green Leaf Flowers and they delivered (on time) a small stuffed teddy bear, a silver balloon and a dozen long stemmed roses to my wife at her job. The lady who helped me was great and the whole thing came to a good price.
Gregory's Formal Wear
I had the worst experience with these people. I needed to rent a tux for my best friend's wedding and there aren't any formal wear rental places in the area, so I drove to Easley to Gregory's. The guy who waited on me was rude, seemed like he was in a hurry and couldn't be bothered to help. I ended up leaving and having to drive even further to Greenville to rent a tux.
Fudge Factory
If you have any kind of sweet tooth (we do), you will love The Fudge Factory. Everything they sell is freshly made. They make brittles, toffees, all kinds of chocolates, the famous fudge and a nice assortment of other sweets. Edwin the owner is a nice man and very friendly.
Access Garage Door
We needed to have some repair work done on our garage door (broken spring) and we called Access. They're on call 24/7 which was great and they sent someone out that morning and were done later that afternoon. They're very professional and personable and they stuck by the original estimate which was reasonable. Nice company.
Carolina Mini Storage
While we were waiting to move into our house, we needed to store one of our cars. We rented a 12 by 30 unit at Carolina Mini Storage. It's in a good safe location, it has electronic entry access 24/7, floodlights, is fenced in and has Closed Circuit TV surveillance. We got a really good deal on our unit and never had a problem while it was there.
