Dimauro Cleaners
I have a lot of non-machine washable sweaters and ALWAYS take them to Dimauro to have them cleaned. I lucked out in finding them - they do an efficient job of getting through customers, yet don't rush and do a sloppy job. Clothes always turn out wonderful and I've had no mistakes or errors since going to them for years. They match prices of competitors, too, which is a big perk.
Rainbow Babies & Childrens Hospital
This is a great hospital for kids. They realize kids are never comfortable in a hospital, so they have books, movies, wall decorations, and clowns to add color and a smile to your kids' face while they have to deal with medical tests. The nurses and physicians are incredible at dealing with kids - friendly and soothing. Great facility.
Mandel Jewish Community Center
JCC is a great place for families. They offer classes for toddlers, kids, and adults of all ages, like little dance or aerobic classes new moms and their children can participate in together. It's cute and the kids love it! It's also a full gym with different cardio equipment for adults to get hardcore workouts while kids play and enjoy crafts and games.
Bona & Sons Plumbing & Heating Company
Having a broken air conditioner is rough in the summer's humid temperatures. We called around and got various pricing, then just chose Bona & Sons based on our friends' positive testimony. They got the repair done correctly the first time they tried and we haven't had any problems with it since the repair (it's been a few months). The cost to have it fixed was reasonable.
A Pink Gorilla
This is one of the coolest balloon places I've been to. I've never seen a balloon shop with coordinated themes to pick out for a large gala or event. According to friends, we had the coolest balloon display they saw, since it was coordinated by experts. The prices are very reasonable, too. Consider coming here for a big bash, or even for small needs.
Jabez Salon And Spa
This place is Heavenly! It is wonderful to be pampered and treat your body to a relaxing, de-stressing massage or facial and feel rejuvenated again. Their prices are more than fair, it's actually a steal for the great quality you get. I will come here time and time again, and haven't hesitated to recommend it to all my friends, who love it as much as I do.
Sheraton Cleveland Airport Hotel
My relatives from Wisconsin picked the Hopkins Hotel after coming in late at Hopkins airport (we don't have any guest bedrooms). The location and convenience of not having to scour all over the city for a hotel was nice, but they eventually found a new hotel to stay at for the rest of their duration because the price was a bit steep and doesn't correlate with the hotel's quality (which is good - clean and well-taken-care-of, but also not what you would expect to pay so much for). Not bad if you need a place to crash fast, but you can find better.
Wings Hobby Shop Inc
I am also fully aware of Wings Hobby Shop and the train collection they have. I have family members who are avid train collectors and I can find a lot of great gifts for them here. It would be hard otherwise to find novel train merchandise for them, since they seem to have everything you can commonly find in toy stores, but there are rare, unique items here you can be guaranteed there won't be numerous duplicates of in other stores.
Parma Hobby
I visited this shop while visiting my grandma in Parma Hospital. They have everything you could want to do in your spare time, which includes assembling automobiles and rockets and hand-painting them, or putting together puzzles with rare designs and of different number of pieces. I stocked up and saved the bag for a rainy or snowy winter day!
Capiccioni's Service Ctr
I agree with the previous reviewer - I have nothing but good things to say about Capiccioni Service Center. The two owners listen attentively to your problem and do a nice job fixing it - they make sure you'll be satisfied the problem is resolved, not leave with more burdens from a poorly-repaired car. Their prices are reasonable, especially for the quality of work they do, and they seem to be able to fix any problem you present to them.
