I love this store because it is just books! It is the largest Books selection of Borders in the valley! The bathrooms are clean, and they always have everything in stock, since it is the main Las Vegas Borders.
I love the selection at this store, since it is the largest in the valley. It is not as busy as other stores and everyone there is nice. Their bathrooms could be cleaner, as the mens rooms floor was wet all over the place.
I find that they have a great selection, but their customer service on the phone and at their booth sucks! They never know what you are asking about.
This Target is very ghetto. Expect to see police inside, or police cars outside. Also expect to buy merchandise twice as much as from other Targets because of the cost of stolen merchandise. Also expect to find empty DVD cases. This store is dirty as well and isn't a Greatland so it doesn't have much selection.
This store always has what you want, is clean, and cheaper than some other Targets, I like their Cafe as well. They always have everything and if they don't, they will call other stores and bend over backwards for you.
The District at Green Valley Ranch used to be a great place to visit and be. But, it is almost impossible for someone to get a parking spot, and the Elephant Bar's service has also gone downhill. The only thing great is that it is dog-friendly. The District has strict security that is also very rude to minors. Sharper Image also will not allow 5 minors in the store at a time. REI has great classes as well. Balboa Pizza is also reasonably priced. When your at the District everyone also acts like snobs. The surrounding area, Green Valley Ranch is not upscale, so don't try to act upscale, I know, since I live there.
PROS: REI, dog-friendly, Elephant Bar, if service is good, Balboa Pizza
CONS: lack of parking, terrible security, snobby attitudes
I live down the street from Green Valley Ranch and I hate it. First of all, there is never any parking. They also took out the middle of the 3rd floor of the parking garage and made it for VIPs. Also, the food prices are astronomical and there is always long lines as well. Security guards are rude to minors, especially at the District. If they sit at a bench in the District longer than 10 minutes, security tells them that they sat there too long and that the District is only for adults. The security at the arcade is also strict, they make sure everyone is over 13 and they follow you around. The movie theaters always has long lines and they don't have great showtimes and the concession stands have poor customer service as well.
PROS: not many
CONS: lack of parking, rude security, expensive restaurants
I went to the Grand Cafe when it opened. The food is great, but it is also very expensive. Also, it is very hard to find parking at Green Valley Ranch, which I do not understand why. Also, the cafe is at the part of the casino in which if you park in the parking garage it takes forever to walk the length of the casino.
PROS: good food
CONS: unprofessional, lack of service, lack of parking
Jamba Juice makes great smoothies! It is very inexpensive and the staff there is nice. The staff could also have some training in the customer service department. Although they are nice, sometimes they do not know what they are doing. I wish there were more locations opening up around town, and I wish parking was much more accessible or ample as well. The drinks are great, and they are also the only location that accepts the Jamba Card as well. Your first boost is free, which is great, because their competitors make you pay extra for boosts.
PROS: Free boosts, great drinks, inexpensive
CONS: lack of parking, inexperienced workers
Las Vegas Athletic Clubs is highly reccomendable by me. It is huge, there is enough parking, and it is not very busy at most times. The staff is very nice and professional. The memberships are cheaper than the memberships to the rec center and include more than the rec center. I am very impressed with LVAC. There is a woman's only gym, a juice bar that has drinks that are very inexpensive, but the food is a little bit higher, but definitely worth it if you want large portions of fresh and tasty food, and the cardio center has TVs on the wall and individual TVs as well. The indoor track is great as you also get a view of the city at some parts. There are also some stretching cages, and its easy to sign up for a personal trainer as well. Machines are fixed within 48 hours (most of the time) and they also have a 24 hour cleaning staff as well. Also, the gym being open 24 hours is a great part as well, I can swim or do whatever I want at any time of the day.
PROS: TVs, cheap juice bar, inexpensive membership, very professional
CONS: could be more parking and more lap lanes in pool
