Rotten Robbies seems to have some of the lowest prices going. Their location is convenient to the freeway. The service inside the store is always slow and curt.
PROS: low prices
CONS: slow service in store
My kids and I love all the flavors of ice cream Baskin Robbins has. The facilities are clean, but there is often a line. I have bought their gift certificates to give as gifts.
PROS: good chocie of flavors
My children and I have enjoyed getting the children's season ticket package. They offer shortened versions of the ballets - perfect for young kids attention spans. I look forward to the day they are old enough to get full blown season passes with me!
PROS: good children's program
I keep my inexpensive membership going because I know I can always pop in and get a good work out. The gym can be crowded, but if I'm looking for a little cardio or some weight lifting - this is convenient. Its a good value for the money.

Sherry really works you out. Get ready to get your body and mind in shape. The yoga routine is a combination of hatha yoga and therapeutic yoga. I like how much she challenged my yoga practice.

I like the styles that Ikea has to offer. Their quality is good for what you are paying. We have bought everything from linens, to kids furniture to kitchen supplies here. I like how easy it is to get the items home and put together.

Diddams has all you need for a party or holiday. I also like their good selection of high quality toys. My kids could spend hours wondering around here planning out their next 5 birthday parties.
PROS: good selection
This was a really fun day out. It was a good fit for my younger children (3 and 5). I was surprised by the miniature city built out of legos - I was amazed at all the detail. The grounds were well kept and the lines for the rides were not too long.
PROS: good family fun
This is a volunteer/parent run Chinese school. They meet on Saturday at Leland high. There are over 500 students ranging from prek to 12th grade. I am really impressed with the dedication of the parents and teachers. There are classes for native speaking Chinese and for Chinese as a second language students. The price is very reasonable. They have different events through out the school year. It is cultural opportunities like this that make living in San Jose so awesome.
PROS: inexpensive language school
