How can you not love sitting outside on a nice sunny day drinking beer that is brewed on site while playing with dogs? Add a bit of live music and really good thin crust pizza and you have a great day out.
I like to pretend that I am taking a break from the filming of my Bollywood epic and I am chatting up the up and coming upstart starlet. We become like a Bollywood version of a Star is Born. It will be a bit of a scandal when it turns out I do not know Hindi.
Anyway for Ice Cream out of the ordinary then try this Valencia Street place.
I doubt that this place will end up on the fine dining channel but how can you not have fun with $2 pints of PBR at all times and wrestling on a loop? When was the last time you dined on tater tots?
If George Jetson and Fred Flinstone opened a bar and stocked it with Belgium Beers then the result would be the lower Haights Noc Noc. Probably the craziest decor of any bar I have ever been in. Like a crashed space ship salvaged by cavemen.
and I am on my way to the Underground on a cloudy London day and I stop in for a Shandy and a Twix bar. Always friendly with a great selection of English products that you enjoyed on your trip.
I have seen this place for years but have never gone in as they were long queues and I try to avoid places where I will feel rushed. Went there last Friday and had a nice prawn/shrimp salad with a nice dressing. The staff seemed to share witty banter.
In Acme you can get a chimay for around $5. outside in the ballpark a budweiser is $7. You can watch the giants lose inside and save two dollars and have a better beer. you can also reenter the game.
the beer is made on site so it has not had to travel far. fresh beer is good beer. good food as well. they have many belgium style ales but no monks. maybe they could hire some monks.
San Francisco is supposed to be one of the most expensive cities in the country but if you need to save some money and get a good meal then Tasty Curry is well worth the trek to the Sunset.
Irish Pub? Curry? Genius!
This has been one of my all time favorite places.
One of the cheapest buffets (at $5.95)and great $2 Guiness Pints (and two for one other beers).
