The Fillmore
Saying you like the Fillmore is like saying you like puppies or ice cream. Anyway they get bands on the way and "classic". Saw procul harum and it was way better than SBC park. Free Apples.
San Francisco Brewing Co
I guess if you are reading my reviews you see that I enjoy outside seating.
Anyway I used to work down the block and they had dollar beers till six so I was able to get some before the end of happy hour.
Great people watching and friendly crowd.
O yes, and the beer is quite good.
Red Devil Lounge
One of the best things about getting older is that bands that you used to see at the large stadiums now go to small nightclubs where you are able to see the bands.
Edinburgh Castle
If you are thinking that San Francisco has few places to get Hagis then go to Burns Night in Febuary at the Edinburgh Castle. Good selection of beer and who does not love fish and chips?
Coffee Adventures Llc
I am always on the lookout for non-Starbucks places for a cup of coffee (I don't dislike Starbucks but..)
Anyway they have outdoor seating and they serve coffee in nice big glasses and not saucers (I hate saucers)
Molloys Tavern
I rarely go out around my house but if I do I will go to Molloys. Very community/local feel to it. I have seen several divorce parties (which are becoming more common)
City Tavern
This is a good place for drinks after volleyball. I like to sit outside but I am always warm. The rest of my team wants to sit inside.
They have good happyhour specials.
Cafe Gratitude
Do not bring your uncle that loves steak houses to this raw/organic cafe.
If you play along with the theme it can be fun but if not you will get quickly get annoyed.
M H De Young Memorial Museum
It is well worth the $70 to become a member as it gives you and a friend unlimited entries.
Real easy way to appear debonir and sophisticated.
The tower is free to get into.
Urban Diversion
Urban Diversion is one of the best ways to jump start your social life in San Francisco. They have around twenty events per month. If you need to break out of a social rut then join Urban Diversion.
