Memphis Minnies BBQ Joint
I always think that Memphis Minnies should come up with a woman's perfume that smells like smoked meat. I have never had a bad meal. The side dishes and corn meal are a meal upon themselves.
Little Star Pizza Dividadero
As you know I am a fan of the thin crust pizza but I hear that this little star place is grand and I am open minded. I ordered while in the Marina and it was ready when I arrived. Really good but parking was kind of annoying.
Palomino
I was on my way to the baseball game when I stopped off at Palomino for a beer and grub. I saw they had a pizza special. I was totally floored when the pizza was perfection. Very thin (I love thin crust pizza) and perfectly spiced.
Gunter's
I am a big fan of the Entertainment book and it has me discovering places like Gunters.
I like pie and they have good creme pie (but have you ever had bad creme pie?) and also solid breakfast. I would give them 3.5 stars/
Green Apple Books
I buy books way faster than I can read them. Great selection of both new and used books.
I love this store but I may request my own banning for my own good.

Black Horse London Pub
Very small but very friendly.
No televisions so you do not have to watch "the game" or a million replays of sportcenters. Always a lively discussion and they have chimay.
Java Beach Cafe
This place is located near Ocean Beach at the end of the N Judah line. Ample street parking is available (but check the street cleaning schedule)
They have indoor and outdoor seating, live entertainment and beer.
Coffee Roastery
This large coffee shop on Chestnut Street is not Starbucks and is open till eight (sometimes non-Starbucks places close early)
They play a selection of 1970's Muzak which I am good at guessing. Outdoor seating...
Melina Jampolis
I have tried a number of things to get into better shape and working with Melina Jampolis has been the most effective. She has you do a food journal and finds out what you are doing right and wrong. In addition she provides a shopping list and guide to eating out.
Houston's Restaurant
I go here every day for the free coffee (before 10 AM)
As it is right next to my work I go here whenever we go out for lunch. It is a little bit on the expensive side.
