Being a Mr. Fixit, my husband has used Marcone's several times to get parts for our dryer. He said he has never had to order parts, they've always had them in stock and the people at the parts counter have always been very knowledgeable and friendly. Their pricing is also very fair! Although we hope to never need them again, if and when we do, we will use them again!
If you are ever in Chickasha, Oklahoma you have to stop in and eat at Jake's Ribs! They have amazing BBQ!! If you are heading down to Chickasha to see the Festival of Lights in December and want to eat a Jake's, go early (like plan for an afternoon lunch, and some cruising around town or shopping) or make arrangements to wait for a really long time (although worth it!), it is always very crowded that time of year.A lot of their food is ordered family style, and the portions are quite large! The pricing is very fair! My in-laws ask to go to Chickasha every time they come to Oklahoma for a visit!
My husband and I spotted them as we were driving down the road one day and decided to stop in. We were in there for EVER it seemed like, just in AWE of the selection of antiques they have. It was amazing. They have a little bit of everything, and it appeared to me that their pricing was very fair.
I can't wait to go back and browse again!!
Dr. Jimerson is a wonderful doctor. The staff in his practice are great too! I saw Dr. Jimerson for several years, including my first pregnancy. I received nothing but the best care! He has a wonderful bedside manor and a great sense of humor, but knows when its time to get serious. When my insurance changed, and I could no longer use him as my doctor. I cried, because I knew I could trust him, and didn't know what to expect with any other doctor! Highly recommended!!
Golden Palace has a huge selection of food. There is their regular buffet, the buffet of Vietnamese food, soups, and their stir-fry line. They are very friendly and great about making sure your glass is always full and that you aren't sitting there with a dirty plate on the table. I would recommend them to anyone!
You aren't just getting a haircut, you are getting a work of art. The stylists at Park Place don't just cut your hair, they design it. You might not want to go radical, but that doesn't mean you have to have a straight box cut either.
They have very fair pricing (about $25 for haircuts, I can't remember what they charge for highlights and colorings, but its A LOT less than Regis and other high end salons cost!)
Love this place! (And they have a massaging pedicure chair there too!! HEAVENLY!!)
My husband swore by this barber shop. He was never unsatisfied w/ his haircuts, their prices were extremely reasonable, and the barbers were always friendly! The only reason he doesn't use this shop anymore is the hours he keeps at work start before the shop opens and ends after it closes, I am now his barber! (haha)
We have always bought our lawnmower and chainsaw supplies from Evans. They have a wide selection of parts, they always seem to have what we are looking for in stock, they are friendly, and their prices are very fair!
Ron's Hamburgers is a great place to eat. I hope you bring your appetite when you come, becuase their serving sizes are HUGE!
They have interesting combinations of burgers, yummy things like loaded cheese fries.
Their prices are very reasonable considering the sizes of the dishes you get.
We've camped at Roman Nose a couple of times and we've also come for just day trips and picnics. Its very scenic, especially if you hike back where the natural springs are. (Watch for wild life, I got a couple of good pictures of a green snake over by one of the springs!) Those springs are neat to wade through and are ICE COLD. Its actually so cold it kind of burns when you step in. The big spring, its really cool to walk back in and watch. The amount of water that is pumped out of the springs is amazing! There are picnic areas down by the pool, which is where the hike back to the springs is as well. There is also a concrete pavilion area a little ways back there.. The other thing about this place is that there is a golf course and stables. And if camping isn't your thing, there is also a hotel and cabins (and tee pees too!) for rent!
