Barnes & Noble is great anywhere you go. This one is a little small, but still has a good collection of books and magazines. Sales people are friendly and helpful.

Skyline College
I attended Skyline as a Dance major and the program was great. I had some great experiences, great teachers and even came back later as a paid intern for my dance professor. It was a great school and the counselors are awesome! Way better than CSM!!!
PROS: Some really good teachers, friendly atmosphere, good vocational programs

I love going to the Barnes & Noble in San Mateo. It is very cozy and cute. I've gone with friends just to go inside, get a drink from Starbucks and sit and read magazines! We didn't even buy anything and no one harrassed us! It is a cute place to chill out and read.

Nextel Phones
When I went in here hoping to replace a broken phone the sale people were not helpful. I stoof there for a long time waiting for someone to acknowledge my presence while they discussed their personal lives... And then they didn't even get me a new phone and told me I was out of luck and should wait for a new phone to come out and buy it.

Michaels
I love going to Michael's. They have all kinds of craft supplies that you can't get many places around here. From stamps to artificial flowers, to crafy paints to holiday decorations, they have it all!

Office Depot is always so clean and very well organized. Things are easy to find and they have a lot of good office supplies. Even office furniture!!!

I listen to KMEL all of the time. I love all the music they play. Not the most variety, but a lot of hip hop and R&B which I love. Not a lot of talking usually, more music which is great!

Lucky Pharmacy
I am a Safeway shopper but occasionally I need to run in to grab something from Albertson's. Everytime I try to be quick there are long lines and slow cashiers talking to everyone in front of me. One time it took me 20 min. just to buy a book of stamps!

Rolling Pin Donuts
I LOVE going to Rolling Pin. The same people have been working there for years and they make donuts right there in the shop. Fresh out of the oven, the old fashioned way. Can't get any better!

Sears is huge, three floors full of stuff. From tools to home decor to clothing... They have a lot of good sales, too. Sometimes the store is messy and sales people need an attitude adjustment... But the products are good.
