La Petite Baleen Swim Schools
I work at a different pool and lots of people come to us in the summer and complain about La Petite Baleen. It is expensive, the water is TOO warm and I do not think they teach as fast as other swimming pools do. I do know some of the teachers and they are great, but I don't know if it's worth the money when there are other public pools that are better and will get your child to learn faster and enjoy swimming.
PROS: Small classes, individual attention
CONS: Slower progress, too much poop in the pool =)
Nordstrom Rack
I have only gone here for one thing... SHOES! They have a TON of shoes and they are cheap. If you need a new pair of sneakers, dress shoes or whatever you will probably find it with a little digging.
PROS: Great shoe section
CONS: Messy, long lines, not much going on except for the great shoes
Nordstrom
I usually only shop here when they have their big sales, but I like their clothes and they have lots of shoes, too. The store is clean and sales people are helpful.
PROS: Cute clothes, nice atmosphere with the occasional piano player

Macy's
Whenever I am looking for a fancy dress for a formal occasion I am sure to swing by Macy's. They always have super cute dresses. The men's department is also great and my boyfriend buys a lot of his clothes there.

Safeway
I love going to Safeway in Millbrae. I always find everything on my list and more. The store is clean and well organized and has good prices. Their deli is also yummy and the bakery is good, too!

Marshalls
I never find anything worth buying in here because it's always so messy. I have never seen it clean or remotely organized. Sometimes they have name brand shoes for good prices, though.

Best Buy
I don't usually have too many people who come up to me offering help when I shop here, but I can easily find what I need most of the time. They have a good sale ad and lots of gadgets and goodies!

San Bruno Flowers Fashions
The people running this shop do a great job. They always give me the best prices available and create beautiful bouquets and arrangements. They always go out of their way to help me find what I need and keep the flowers fresh! They are very supportive of the local high school and give me discounts when purchasing my end of the year awards for seniors.

Vista Dental
I'm not gonna lie, I have had a few near death experiences when going to the dentist. Although I now avoid the dentist at all costs I did not die when I went to Cohen and they were nice.
PROS: Friendly dentists who actually know what they're doing!
CONS: I am still paying off a ton of bills!
Fredericks Of Hollywood
Frederick's lingerie is almost the same quality as Victoria's Secret and is way cheaper. They have great bras and panties for good prices, too. The store is small, but the people are friendly and helpful.
