I do come here a lot and my kids too. My wife prefers Carlton but my kids likes the ladies that cut their hair. Maybe because they have the patience and kindness to kids as most don't. I like Sports Clip but it is cheaper here at Supercuts.
Been here numerous times but I only have one thing that bugs me about this place-they use lard. Taste very heavy on me but overall, I give it a four star as their pastries and sandwiches are tasty, delicious and excellent customer service.
Pro: Received free eye drops for my allergiesCons: Doctor- exam lasted 4-5 minutes. Not enough time. Wanted me out of office ASAP.Staff: 3 workers in the front desk with slow services. Unbelievable.Billing: Tried to bill my wife for a bill dated 9/2006. Almost two years ago. David, bill representative stated that $49 is not worth it to be upset about. But I insisted we paid the bill. Keeps reiterating to pay the bill plus had the nerve to place me on hold for a long time as he looks for the bill on hand. Should not make a comment until all the paperwork are in hand. Unbelievable.
IF you ever get accepted here and wasn't accepted at a Ivy league school then come here for God sake. It is a bargain to come here. $18-25 K a year that includes everything from tuition to books to dorm etc... Not bad ha. This price is for residents of CA so $38-45 K for non-residents. Yes the studying is fast pace but what school isn't these days. But if you come here, get a real degree as Philosophy will get you nowhere, nor does History unless you plan to teach. Somewhat a commuter school but most schools in CA are commuter school except for Stanford. Food is expensive in LA so try cooking at home instead. Lots of jobs to take but try waitressing as the money is good and probably enough to pay for your education. Take the bus as it is economical and save the planet and all. Have fun here and you will be okey in school and in life.
If you love Ice cream this is the place to be. Strange concoction exist here but be ready to fork up some dough. This is not a cheap Baskin and Robbins place but I love their flavors as they are out of this world. Cherry Garcia is a favorite and so is Chunky monkey.
Shakey's have the best pizza and it is a tie between Round Table but there isn't enough Round Table in our neighborhood. I like it when it is still piping hot as it burns the tip of your tounge but not really. My kids and I come here often as they love their pizza. If you haven't stopped by here please do as their service is like fine dining.
Been here many times for fast food to go stuff. I like the beef /chicken combo for less than $5.00. Forget about the other stuff just go for their traditional combo of chicken/beef and leave the joint.
Why does their food taste the same? Steak, chicken, veggies all had that teriyaki taste... bland. Is it becasue they are cooke don the same platform? The chefs are creative especially to my kids but that is the thrill of this place.
Not bad for italian food as we bring out of towners here for dinner as they serve big portions on large servings. Economical and the food is average. Nothing exciting to write about except I haven't been here in a while. Garlic bread is kind of weird as they have a circular slab of bread with bits and pieces of garlic all over it. Strange.
Not bad for a fast food type of place. Not real french food but the patry are good. Go for the croissants as they are deliccious but if you are here for fine dining of French food, not the place to be. Grab a quick bite to go and you will be fine.
