Nick & Joe's Pizza

The pizza at Nick and Joes is very good pizza. They are one of the few places that will deliver to my house which is nice although usually I go to pick up the pizza. The last time I went for pizza, though, I found that they raised the prices significantly and I was very disappointed to find out how much my pizza was going to cost me, even with a coupon! I am now looking around for a new place to get good pizza so I don't have to pay as much.

Seasons Pizza

Seasons Pizza has some really good pizza! I love going to this location (or any of hte others too) to get pizza because it is always hot and always tasty. Their pizza is consistently good. This location is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. Seasons also has really good salads, Italian entrees and much more. I would definitley recommend Seasons Pizza.

Newark Toyota

I have a friend who just bought a car from Newark Toyota. She said that the whole experience was easy and that the people were good to work with. The car she bought is great and when it did need a tiny bit of warranty work done, she was able to get in and out quicklky and the work was done well and everything was clean when she got the car back. I would recommend Newark Toyota.

Bobbie Ann's Dance Studio

My daughter has taken dance lessons at Bobbie Ann's for 3 years now. She reallylikes her teacher, Ms. Susie who is Bobbie Ann's daughter (Bobbie Ann is often at the studio helping out as well!)

My daughter takes ballet and tap dance. She is in a combination class where she gets a little bit of both types of dance.

It is really affordable at Bobbie Ann's. Recitals are held every other year and I do have to say that they are very very hectic and hard to get through. I like that they are not every year!!!

Berger's Bakery

Bergers Bakery has the best cookies I've ever tasted! I could just eat and eat and eat these cookies! This place makes other good baked goods as well but if you go, do try the fudge topped cookies that they are so famous for!

National Aquarium - Imax Theater

The National Aquarium is a great place to see all kinds of fish and sealife. There is a great dolphin show there.

The National Aquarium is big and very busy. It is often quite busy and crowded. You have to purchase tickets and they will tell you what time you can enter. Sometimes it is much later than the actual time. This is to help control crowds but it is quite disappointing to those that want to go into the aquarium!

In addition, the aquarium does not allow strollers. This is a problem for some. WE took our 18 month old daughter to the aquarium and she was not yet walking. She was about 20 pounds and it was not a very fun experience at the aquarium for us since we had to carry her everywhere and she was quite heavy and squirmy!

It is a great place to go but there are downfalls so be careful!

Furniture Solution

The Furniture Solutions has some nice furniture. It is moderately priced and it is good quality furniture. I have not actually purchased any furniture here because I could not deal with the sales associate. He was very pushy and I finally had to walk out of the store because I could not deal with this sales person. I would try again as it's been several years now but I would hope not to run into the same assocaite!

American Signature Furniture

Value City Furniture has low end furniture. If you are on a budget and you are not expecting your furniture to last more than 5-10 years than it is probably an okay place to purchase your furniture. If you want furniture that you will not have to replace, this is not hte place.

I do have to say that the prices are fairly reasonable at Value City but you do have to remember that the stuff probaby won't last.

I also have to say that the associates that I have dealt with here are very friendly but not very knowledgable. When I asked howlong it would take for a piece I wanted to order to come in, they could not tell me. I did not place the order.

Jodlbauer's Furniture Inc

Jodlbauers has some really nice furniture. The store is family owned and the store associates are very friendly and helpful. The only problem I have with this store is that the furniture is very expensive!!! I guess the high quality makes everything expensive but it is more than I could afford to spend. They also have Jodlbauers too where they have clearance items and still I thought that the prices were too high!

Bay Ace Hardware

Ace Hardware is a small hardware store. They have pretty much whatever you will need to do simple jobs around the house. They carry tools and other necessary items to fix plumbing, paiting and other areas in your house. They also have a large rental area so if you want to rent almost anything, you can do it here.

The biggest problem I have with this store is that the associates aren't really knowledgable. If you ask a question about how to do a certain repair, they most often cannot give you the information. They can only tell you where in the store to find items if you know what item you are looking for.
