Around Christmas my dog developed these lesions on his back. Neffsville gave us medication for a bacterial skin infection. When that failed to work they gave us medication for a viral skin infection. Five months, four veterinary visit each time with a different doctor, multiple guesses at what was wrong and a few hundred dollars later a biopsy was done. It turns out that my dog has skin cancer. Unfortunately I will now need to wait for another week to discuss any possible options for my dog??s future care and happiness with a Veterinarian. The outlook is not promising and I can only think that maybe if Neffsville had figured out that he had cancer five months ago there may have been a better chance at beating this. I will most likely now be looking at just keeping my dog as comfortable as possible but I don??t doubt that Neffsville will have the audacity to suggest a costly procedure which would only prolong my dog??s suffering. I have become extremely dissatisfied with the care my animals have received. I believe that they are too large to properly care for your pet but if you must take your animal there to request the same Vet for each visit. I will never take any of my future pets to Neffsville.
I was extremely pleased with Lititz Orthodontics. I had braces for around four years, which is longer than most of the other patients due to other issues with my teeth. I had a horrible smile and was embarrassed by it but my teeth are now straight and I don't do anything but smile! Of course braces aren't always fun - there is a fair amount of discomfort when they get tightened but the assistants were always to kind. All most all of the assistants had had braces or was wearing them at the time so they knew exactly what you were feeling. Dr. Palasz's assistants do a lot of the work with tightening braces and such but Dr. Palasz always checks you out before you leave.
His office is relatively new and always clean. His office also will send you email reminders before your visit so you won't forget which was extremely helpful for me. I did on occasion have a brace or wire pop off and I was easily scheduled in on that day or the next to get it reattached. (This included over Thanksgiving! There was an assistant on call who came in and fixed me up! She was extremely pleasant too even though I was cutting into her family time!)
Sometimes they will be running behind so you may have to wait out front for a bit. I also had scheduling difficulties at times because I needed appointments that didn't conflict with my parent's work schedules. Lititz Orthodontics always worked with my mom to get an appointment set that fit my schedule. I wouldn't recommend that anyone go anywhere else except Lititz Orthodontics for Orthodontic work! I loved it there.
I have always gone to Dr. Miller. He is outgoing and extremely funny. His office is decorated in a fun western theme and I have never been upset to go there. Furthermore I have never seen any other unhappy patients while I was there. He is honest with the children so I always knew exactly what he was doing to my teeth and he would talk to me while he was doing the necessary procedures. The machine that is used for X-rays has big googly eyes glued on it so it is impossible to be scared! Dr. Miller is not only a dentist, he has personal relationships with all of his patients. He has gone to his patients soccer matches or figure skating competitions and he even came to one of my horse shows last year. His office is clean and his secretaries and assistants are pleasant. Dr. Miller's son (Dr. Aaron) has also recently joined the practice. I am going to be extremely disappointed when I have to leave his practice to attend an adult dentistry practice. It is going to be so dull!
Dr. Milliken has done a lot of work with the brood mares at the barn where I stable my horse. My riding instructor has been extremely pleased with his work. He also gave a presentation to my 4-H club where he explained his job in terms that everyone could understand. It was so pleasant to talk to a Veterinary who wasn??t trying to prove his superiority like so many other Vets do! If I decide to breed a mare in the future, he will be the Veterinary I will call.
I have been pleased with the care I've received at Roseville. The nurses were extremely tolerant with me when I would start to panic because I needed a shot. (I am terrified of needles.) They have a new satellite practice at Kissel Hill Commons which is very convenient to my home.
Unfortunately many of the "old school" doctors which were practicing when I first started there have since retired and I find that I do get on as well with the new doctors. I feel that since I have left the cute young child stage that I get less preferential treatment. I mean let's face it - I drive myself to the appointments and write my own checks for the visit - I can't hold a candle to hiccuping newborn with the sniffles!
