I love visiting this library. Upstairs, downstairs, books to audio books. You can use computers for the internet, or just sit and read the vast selection of magazines and newspapers provided. This library is interlinked with Muskogee, and they continually provide first rate reading from location to location. There are also meeting rooms that offer education classes, craft classes and much more. There is always a table in the front of used books for sale, and the selection there is great. It's all happening at this library.
I needed a health item and called to see if it was stocked there. No, it wasn't but with just my call, it was ordered for me. I received a call as soon as my vitamin came in and scooted down to pick it up. Once in Oasis, I browsed the various aisles and found a few more things that I just could not live without.
I found this restaurant a little hard to find, but it is certainly worth the search. I had a steak (yes at a seafood restaurant) and it was totally worthy. The portions are large, food is served hot and desserts are a given.
This is my all time favorite place for Sunday Afternoon Brunch, but be prepared, the line to get in will be well out the door. The facility is huge, so there is ample seating to provide a fast turnaround on tables. The buffet is awesome, everything under the sun and a few authentic Cherokee dishes are provided for your taste treat.
I have always enjoyed eating at the Porterhouse, but lately it is changing. Changing hands, changing menus, changing staff. This always worries me, I will certainly watch these changes to see if it closes.
A 24/7 diner with an outstanding menu. The breakfast there is to die for and it is available at all hours. Need something different? Take a peek at their dessert menu, you will be amazed.
My brother was visiting from Florida and had a seizure. I drove him to the hospital, parked in front of the emergency room and went in to tell the staff of the trouble. Immediately three large men came out to the truck to get my brother onto a bed and into the ER. From there the process was even better. He was immediately MRI'd, and admitted in the blink of an eye. I stayed with him for the week he was in the hospital in a large comfy recliner provided in each room. The hospital food? Wow, you order from a menu comparable to a restaurant. It wasn't the best time for him, but I was able to relax and not stress while being there to help take care of him.
My husband set up an appointment with Dental Care. He arrived on time, however sat there several hours before being seen. The staff could have cared less if he was there or not. He was just a number for them. After an expensive and incomplete exam, he paid his money and voted with his feet never to return.
Of all the dentists I called one weekend with a terrible toothache, Dr. Allison was the only one who called me back. Not only that, but he came into his office over the weekend to take care of my pain. Now that is service. He got my vote, he got my repeat business and he has my word of mouth on his caring, sincere love of his trade.
Keys is a brand new store in a remodeled location. I never thought that there could be a 'grocery' store in such a small community, but I was surprised. Good selection, good prices, super customer appreciation. If you don't want to drive all the way into town from the lake, now you don't have to.
