This is our favorite BBQ in the greater Montgomery area. You can order and eat in or take a large order to go. The only drawback is that their evening hours are very limited. If you want to go late in the afternoon make sure they are still open.
The Waters is a new subdivision off Marler Rd. in East Montgomery. They offer single family homes, condos, and town houses in an old fashioned town style. They are based off a large dammed pond or small lake with a beautiful community pool and small beach and boardwalk. Fishing appears to be excellent. The big drawback are the high prices which will run about $200 per square ft for a home on a small lot. Take a look, even if just for fun.
If you are military or work on the base try the bowling alley. They run specials like all you can bowl in 4 hours for $5 or a two hour family special with food for under $20. The staff is normally friendly and helpful and the snack bar very good. The only drawback are that you do not slide well on the lanes. You come to an abrupt stop when you try to slide.
Escape into a tropical adventure alive with cascading waterfalls and exciting animatronics, like playful gorillas, trumpeting elephants and whimsical butterflies. The menu offers a variety of specialty items from seafood, beef and chicken to pastas and pizza. Full service bar also. You get alot of food with every meal, so even though prices seem high, I really don't think they are.
These are very good cookies and they always have a buy 4 get one free type of special. I was disappointed only once when it appeared that I was at least a day old selection.
Dippin' Dots are tiny beads of ice cream, yogurt, sherbet and flavored ice. They are fun to eat and come in 30 delicious flavors. I like the ice cream flavors better than the sherbet. They also do fundraisers and catering.
Charley's is a fast casual restaurant featuring fresh made-to-order
Philly style grilled steak and chicken subs. Our family favorite is the bacon cheese fries. We get these even if we don't want a sandwich.
Salty, savory, sweet or tangy, Auntie Anne's pretzels are rolled byhand, baked to a golden brown, and served to you fresh! These will satisfy every member of the family. We like the regular salted and the cinnamon sugar.
This is your standard Arby's that you find in any mall. The food was good, hot, and served quickly. They don't seem to bog down with big crowds as much at the burger joints do. The stand looked clean and well cared for.
This theater is conveniently located in the colorado Mills Mall. It is easy to get and very clean. The concession stand is organized and serves quickly, although I have to admit it was not crowded the day we were there.
