Very reliable and professional. Have only used the Kona office and no worries here. True to their words and wonderful to do business with.
If you are looking for a truly professional CPA, please look elsewhere.
Arrogant attitudes, sloppy product and overpriced fees indicate a dysfunctional firm that is just in it for your money.
Useless. Didn't even respond to an inquiry. Common courtesy would dictate at least acknowledging receipt of your message. We'll take it as a red flag and stay away.
This has been Pacific Island Fitness now for about a year.
Please see the review of Pacific Island Fitness to read about the changes to this facility.
Pasqual Bernal, the new owner, took over the old Gold Gym about a year ago and he has made some changes - some good, some bad:
Gave up the Gold's franchise - bad for existing members as they lost travel pass privileges
Closed the child care service
On holidays, the gym either closes earlier, or does not open at all.
The first question I asked the new owner a year ago was, "Are you going to raise the fees of the existing members?" He said no.
Well, the fees went up last month, with no advance notice. He stated, however, that existing members are still paying less than new members.
The facilities have been renovated and cleaned up with new bathrooms, flooring, new equipment, etc. However, the new flooring in the aerobics room (closed and air conditioned) still smells like the rubber/glue used for the flooring a month later. How can anyone on the aerobic machines (treadmill, ellipticals, bicycles) breathe when the rubber/glue odors are still very strong and toxic smelling?
IMO, the jury is still out on this gym, but my suggestion is to check it out for yourself and decide if it is right for you.
This is the place to practice. Very knowledgeable instruction, space is small but tidy. Parking can be a problem since it is very close to the University. But I am very pleased with Purple Yoga and would not hesitate to recommend.
We always stop at Marukai to stock up on Japanese/asian grocery items. They have a wonderful supply of imported grocery items, fresh fish, meats, fruits/vegetables, many snacks and drinks, as well as ready-to-eat bento type dishes. If you go in the late afternoons, these are further discounted to sell quickly. All are delicious and reasonably priced. No wonder it is so very popular and crowded all the time!
My visits to Big Island Marine are usually for paint and stainless hardware. They have an excellent reputation for custom matching your car's paint and have a decent supply of items for auto body work.
The staff is knowledgeable and willing to help with your purchases. This is a specialized store with excellent quality products for boats, surf boards, and auto bodies like paint, fiberglass, lines, etc. A little pricey, but worth it because of the customer service and selection.
