I took a favorite woven purse in and asked how much it would cost to have it cleaned. The person there didn't know, but said she would have the person who knew call me. I wrote a note that if it was not more than a certain amount to go ahead and have it cleaned. If it was more than my limit, I asked that they call me and I'd come and pick up my purse. I didn't get a call, so assumed that it was being cleaned. After two or three weeks I went back. It appeared that they had misplaced my purse....but finally it was found, with a note that it would be a unbelievably high charge to have it cleaned. My note, asking that I be called if that was the case, was still on my purse!

Easy to get to, not far from I-240 off of Poplar, it's worth the trip to experience the largest screen of all the movie theaters in Memphis...as well as the largest and most comfortable seating I've ever enjoyed in a theater.
Orpheum Theatre
My first (and so far, only) visit to the Orpheum was to see Sandy Duncan in "The King and I." It was fantastic!! The opulence of the theater has been restored, the lighting brings everything on stage into brilliant life, and I wish I had the money for season tickets!

This outlet store (the Dayspring plant is nearby) is the place to get every variety of greeting cards, gift wrap, photo albums, journals, notecards, stationary, wedding gifts, seasonal items and gifts, all at unbelievably low prices....would you believe up to 90% less than you would purchase the identical item in your local Christian bookstore?
Allen Morgan Health Center
I have visited my aunt at Trezevant a number of times, and am pleased that she is happy there. Though in the midst of a major addition, they have kept the inconvenience to their tenants at a minimum. I appreciate the added security of a guarded entrance. Though there are several floors to the manor, I've never had to wait long for an elevator. The staff I have encountered have been most pleasant, as have a number of other residents I have met. The furnishings are tasteful but not overdone. The only thing I have not been impressed with is one of the lunches I ate in their dining hall...but perhaps it was just a bad day in the kitchen!
Whole Foods Market
The only thing wrong with Wild Oats is that it's too far away from where I live....sure wish they'd build one in DeSoto County! Of course their prices are higher, but you can be sure of the quality of what you purchase there. I especially like their selection of spices, which are fresher and can be purchased in any amount you want. They also have a great selection of gluten/wheat free pastas.
