Philgood Cuts
Philgood Cuts is in a prime location in South San Francisco. Lots of parking and near the freeway. The barbers at the shop do a great job on adults and kids! My boyfriend and plenty of my guy friends go here to get cut and they say the barbers here are the best. I've visited the shop and it's clean and kid friendly. There are TV's and even a couch to keep you occupied just in case you have to wait for a little bit. It's not a drab spot, I like the decor as well. You won't be disappointed.
Out The Door
After a long day of shopping in San Francisco, Out The Door is a perfect spot. It's located on the concourse level of San Francisco's Westfield Shopping Center, a perfect ending after wandering the city. The Pad Thai is delicious, and the portions are so big that I can save some for later. You won't be disappointed.
Brunos
Good music, great drinks, cool little dive spot. The bar is in a good area with lots of other bars in the area, which is good because that means Bruno's will never get TOO packed. The flavored mojitos are delish, especially the mango one! It's pretty cool that they have the drink specialties on the glass mirror behind the bar. You get an old San Francisco feeling when you walk in the club, it's an awesome place for a quick drink or a place to hang out with your homies.
Wet Nightclub
If you're looking for a good party place in San Jose you won't be disappointed with this spot. It's a the new hot spot in the south bay. Good looking people in a good looking spot. You'll be impressed with the whole layout, from the bathrooms to the Shark Tanks, you'll love it. One caveat, long lines!
Burger Joint
Looking for a quick bite to eat @ the airport, this is your place. It's conveniently located in the international terminal right before the gates, perfect for you to grab a bite w/your friends and family that are seeing you off. One caveat, you'll have to pay "airport prices" but you won't be disappointed w/the portions or the service.
Firewood Cafe & Grill
In the remodeled SFO International Terminal, as nice as it is, you only expect the best and Firewood Grill serves it's purpose. The one in the international terminal right before the gates is perfect for a quick drink and/or meal. The pasta dishes are especially good and the service is quick. There is another Firewood Grill inside terminal A but it's way TOO busy. The one outside the terminal is a little more relaxing, a good way to get away from the airport hustle and bustle.
Pete's Tavern
Hidden place across from the Ballpark. Surprisingly good food for a Sports Bar. Went on a sunday night, thought it would be packed but we had no problem getting a table. They have plenty of beers on tap and plenty of tables and TV's. Go there by yourself, with someone else, and/or arrange for a big party and you won't be disappointed.
Nubi Yougurt
Fun place to get yogurt. I'm not big on the serve yourself idea but at least you can sample all the flavors. The pineapple yogurt yummy! you get to add your own toppings which is a good deal too. Just don't add too much, you pay be weight.
Manora's Thai Cuisine
I absolutely love the Pad Thai! The food is good, the prices are very reasonable, the only caveat would be the crowd. Make sure to beat the lunch and dinner rush, if you can't beat it, call in ahead of time and pick up your food. You won't be disappointed.
Mercury Lounge
Mercury Lounge serves GLOBAL asian food, don't be fooled by asian fusion. The dishes are decent sized portions for decent prices. They have a cocktail menu full of all types of yummy mojitos...i suggest the lychee, or mango one. You can't go wrong w/this place. The menu has a lot of variety, the bartenders are fun (all girls) and the place is good after hours as well.
