Grimaldi's
Pizza is okay, fresh mozzarella is used so it isn't greasy. Pepperoni is above average good. Pizza is thin crust but not spectacular overall. Nothing I'd wait in line for again. And after waiting in line, I get into a very small restaurant where they pack WAY too many people. Be prepared to sit next to a complete stranger because the tables are packed way too closely, with no room between neighboring tables. It's like sitting at a long cafeteria table next to people you don't even know. If you order more than one pie, there's barely enough room on your tiny table to fit the pizza and your plate. Atmosphere is sub-par, as is the service. Bring your own bottled water because nobody ever comes to ask if you want your drinks refilled.
Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana
Pizza is very oily and mediocre at best. It's not bad tasting, but not spectacular, and nothing I'd ever wait in line for. The pizza was cut very sloppily instead of in even, triangular slices.
San Remo Restaurant-Pizzeria
If you place your order for pizza, make sure to say you want it "San Remo Style". When the new owners took over, they changed the pizza recipe, and the crust is way too thick, and the pizza is just mediocre at best. They will still make it the old way if you request "San Remo Style" when you order... San Remo pizza is great thin crust pie that is easily foldable. I don't know why they would change their pizza recipe... the old style is much better.
