My son was going on a camping trip with the boy scouts. This place was great we found everything that he needed for his trip. We even found some stuff that they did not have at the boyscout store. The staff was very helpful. They are a little expensive but they have a great selection.
Heritage Lawns
We had them come out and after one season they were able to bring back our lawn from nothing. We had nothing but weeds and dirt. I don't know what he uses but it was great. He says it's environmentally friendly stuff. All I know is we had the best lawn after that. Highly recommend.
Salmon Brook Coffee Shop
This is a great place for breakfast. It's always crowded on the weekend but you never have to wait long. The wait staff is great and the prices are very reasonable. The view of the lake isn't bad either. The eggs benedict is great.
Good Table Family Restaurant
I have only been there once for breakfast. We took a friend there for her birthday. The food was very good and very reasonably priced. The wait staff was extremely friendly and I would definitely go there again.
Red Rose Pizzeria
The food is good but a little pricey especially the take-out. Because it's downtown the parking is not that great and it's usually pretty busy. For a family style restaurant it's got a nice atmosphere.
Bernie's Dining Depot
This place is fantastic. It's very popular with the Seniors during lunch so you may have to wait. The prime rib is excellent and for lunch Tuesday - Friday it's only $10.50. It's very kid-friendly because it's a converted train dining car. Lot's of fun.
Paisanos Pub
The sauce is phenomenal and the calamari is great. The atmosphere is nice - very Italian. They even have a banquet room that is very nice. The prices are reasonable for lunch and dinner.
Pet Boutique
The best thing about this place is the prices are very good. She does an OK job. Sometimes you have to wait a couple of days to get a call back to make an appointment but she is good.
Pat's Fine Foods
The food is good but a little pricey for a quick lunch sandwich. The staff is very courteous and friendly. They are open until 7pm and have homemade take-out dinners for people on the run and are reasonably priced.
Union News Sunday Repubhlican
We used to get their daily paper but found it was too much information for us and not enough local news for our area. So now we only get their Sunday news for the store fliers and classifieds.
