Bricco
The Californian chef here cooks Italian cuisine with great flavors. The antipasto plates are served tapas-style and include delights such as house-cured fritters and stuffed olives with anchovies. The food here is delicious! Exposed brick and wood reflect a warmth well-suited to urban upscale dining. This restaurant, which is known for its martinis and grappas, is frequented by young professionals and romantics. Prices are a bit high but worth it.
Terramia Ristorante
Tucked away on a quiet street in the North End, the maroon awning and open windows of this restaurant beckon to those with a taste for modern Italian fare. My favorite is their Maine lobster with raddichio fritters. The homemade Abruzzi-style spaghetti and the risotto is also delicious. Restaurant serves beer and wine and prices reasonable.
Rabia's
There are so many restaurants in the North End, choosing a place to dine can be difficult. For Italian seafood, try this small storefront eatery. For traditional Italian-American entrees, there are plenty of familiar pastas. The mussels and scallops in sauce or sauted in oil is my absolute favorite. The restaurant serves beer and wine.
Joe's American Bar & Grill
For a classic American-style dining experience, this is your place and the food is really good. This Waterfront eatery has a pub section with all of the usual selections, as well as a more formal section with white-line covered tables. A young, after-work crowd fills the bar on the lower level of the restaurant where people watching is a fun activity. The seats on the patio, as well as some inside, offer a nice view of the water.
Gigi Gelateria
This ice cream parlour, located in the North End area, offers about 50 flavours of gelato??Italian ice-cream. The space was formerly the home of the Salumeria Toscana grocery store. My favorite is tiramisu.
Dom's Restaurant
This is an old-fashioned but expensive Italian restaurant. If you like to people-watch as you dine, you will enjoy yourself here. The food here is very Italian American, lots of pasta! The restaurant serves beer, wine and cordials. They offer you a five percent off, if you pay in cash.
Assaggio
This intimate eatery offers great food in a warm and elegant atmosphere. Sculptures decorate little alcoves and white linen cover the tables. Mmmm you have to have the tortellini in a lobster cream sauce or spaghetti alla puttenesca it is to die for. The wine cellar features more than 120 vintages sold by the bottle and/or glass. Prices are a bit high but this place is well worth it.
Union Oyster House
Always crowded, this restaurant is frequented by locals and tourists and it definitely shouldn't be missed. The raw bar serves a variety of shellfish. The lobster is my favorite and everything taste really fresh. The restaurant has a full service bar and the prices are reasonable.
B & B Catering
This catering compnay is wonderful. I had a party at my house and they were very professional and everyone had a great time. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. Would highly recommend.
Skin Quotient
One of the most luxurious, high end health and beauty services in Chicago. Skin products such as lotions, scrubs, creams and oral perscriptions are conveniently available for patients to further protect and care for their health and body. I love them and would highly recommend.
