This large independent store carries music and memorabilia from every era. TI love their classic rock selection, which includes bands like The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and the Beach Boys. The prices can run high for some of the collectibles, but the quality of some of the very rare goods is the best around.
Panty Raid
I love this store! They use the most luxurious and comfortable materials like silk, cotton and lycra are used in the designs. The store, though small, has plenty of choices for you. It's a wonderful place to pick up a perfect something for Valentine's Day, or an anniversary or even a bachelorette party. A bit pricey but well worth it.
Shanghai Corner
Upstairs in this eclectic shop you will find antique furniture that you won't find anywhere else. It is all in very good condition and the prices are great. Downstairs, gifts and inexpensive souvenirs are available, as well as Chinese items like herbs and traditional porcelain. Great place to browse at some interesting things.
Realm
This store in Chinatown is an excellent place to shop for traditional Chinese home furnishing products. Glass oil cruets, delicately crafted teapots, and bamboo cutting boards can be purchased here. There is a great book selection here which make great gifts. You can also find them online which is great!
Le Pink
Le Pink is a store for women, and men who want to make up with their partners. It's located amongst the many art galleries and designer stores on Echo Park Avenue. They also have candy and perfumes. The prices are reasonable and the people who work there are really friendly.

Stark Waxing Studio is a place that caters to both men and women. With a plethora of treatments??Full Brazilian being the most famous??this place is here to stay. They also have some bath and body products from the on-site shop. The prices are somewhat high, but with a location like Silver Lake, that is bound to happen.
Flounce
This store has great stuff like retro pieces, 50's items, silk chiffon and much more. The prices are great and you will also find shoes, hats, and lots more accesories. Great for costumes - period pieces. They also have stuff for guys too!
Dispela Antiques
This store is beautiful with its elegant craftsmanship and crude primitives as they co-exist in this cramped shop. It's an odd combination, this marriage of antiques from the late 19th and early 20th century and Papua New Guinea Tribal Art. You are never short of visual stimulation when you're browsing here. Prices are high but Iove this store.
Antique Stove Heaven
This place is so cool as you browse around looking at antique stoves. The prices are very expensive but it can definitely take you back to the 1950's. They also fix old broken stoves that you might have. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.
