Scheduled a visit to evaluate my washer. Was willing to pay the $65 fee for the evaluation. Did not show. Did not even call.

Studio 55

I found this salon on Insiderpages and the reviews do not disappoint. I called spur-of-the-moment and Andrea was able to accommodate me, which I appreciated. I loved the haircut she gave me as well as her great, energetic attitude and personality. The price was even reasonable, when other places charge outrageous amounts for a haircut! I recommend not only Andrea Camlin but the entire staff at Studio 55 as well.

Sirott, Laura L, Md - Macer Myers Henneberg Sirott

Dr. Laura Sirott has been my OB for several years now and I am going through my first pregnancy with her (due next month). While she does not "coddle" her patients, she has always been friendly, nice, professional, efficient and informative on every visit. If I have questions she takes the time to answer them. Her nurse, Linda, is always pleasant and we usually share a laugh together. I have recommended her to friends and am glad to do the same on InsiderPages.

Robert M Plancey INC

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Plancey for years and loved going to him. There was always a wait and 90% of his patients are geriatric, but he was thorough and informative. I don't know what happened, but since moving to his new Arcadia office things have changed. His new office is cramped and smells musty. The exam room didn't even have an exam table in it, only 2 chairs and a sink. It felt like we were at a low-cost health clinic instead of an office that only accepts PPO. My husband was having some real physical symptoms and we thought at least Dr. would do his usual thorough exam and order an xray and other tests. He didn't. My husband didn't even think Dr. Plancey looked at his chart beforehand. Dr. Plancy basically told my husband to change his posture and get a new memory foam pillow (which my husband told him he already has). So, after having a 10:30 a.m. appointment and finally seeing the Dr. at 12:45 p.m., that was it. No exam. No tests. No questions. He sent my husband on his way.

I don't know what has happened, but the quality of care has taken a nosedive. We have already received recommendations for other physicians and won't be back. It's a real shame. He was such a good doctor but now he seems to be "phoning it in" and more concerned with the number of patients he can see in a day rather than the quality of care he delivers.

Harmony Skin Care & Day Spa

I have had good experiences with facials and massage at Harmony over the past several years. I would see Jean and have her massage my aching carpal tunnel arms and wrists, which would hurt initially but feel much much better afterwards. Especially with Burke Williams being so expensive for so little value, the crowd, the noise...Harmony is a nice alternative.

Can Can Parleur Organic Hand and Foot SPA

I don't even know if this place is still in business, but my friend and I went there for manicures and the owner treated us very rudely. Her staff were hired right out of school with no experience and we both were CUT during our manicures! By separate technicians! I've gone to very inexpensive places and never once had my finger cut. Horrible. Cute decor does not make up for the horrible service.

Burke Williams Day Spa

I've been going to Burke Williams for years, but recently the service doesn't really match the price and the crowded facility doesn't help. I had a facial this past week and the entire time the facialist kept talking about the products (obviously trying to sell them). During the facial, she repeated herself on two separate products. Word for word. I don't think she even realized she did it. An express facial at BW is $75 for 25 minutes but I can go to Glen Ivy and get a full 80 minute facial that includes a mini massage for $85! Only $10 more. I don't think I'll be back. I prefer Harmony in Sierra Madre or Glen Ivy.

Party On Rentals

I used Party On Rental for a 31 foot double-lane slip n slide for my husband's party today and it was great. Everyone loved it. POR delivered it on time and in clean condition. They picked it up at a reasonable hour and were quick about tear-down. The price was $75 less than other places I found for a 1 lane slip n slide. I would definitely rent from them again. They even called the week of the party to confirm the rental.
