We have been using Kidspark for years on a very irregular basis. We don't go out much without the kids, but when we need to, it is great to have the option of dropping the kids off at a place they like. There are plenty of different activities for the kids - so they like to go there. It is nice that it is right across the street from Oakridge mall so you can go to a movie and dinner and know you're within walking distance.
The price is reasonable.
We just had a huge to go order of lasagna, chicken and veal parmigiana, spaghetti and meatballs, rigatoni, and salad. The whole family enjoyed it and it was very convenient to have them pack it all up ahead of time. It was a bit expensive, but the food was tasty and we'll definitely go back!
I have had my hair cut by Ivy. She does a very good job and is flexible. You can get same day appointments and even walk-ins seem to be welcome. I would definitely go back - and it's convenient (Santa Teresa & Cottle) in the Blossom Valley neighborhood. Their prices are very reasonable.
My family loves this place. It serves a good variety of mexican food and there is usually not a problem being seated either indoors or outdoors. They have fast service which is great with kids, and they have a full bar.
Our favorites are Machaca, Chimichangas, and the kids meals are great too. I've actually never had anything I didn't like.
Sometimes the TVs are on which can be annoying if it's something you're not interested in, but it's not loud.
We get burritos to go from Burrito Factory often. They are delicious and you can call ahead and pick up your order. It's not a fancy place, but it's worth a try. We like their Churros too!
We have been going to El Tarasco for almost 20 years (since college). We have always loved their burritos - and feel it's worth paying for the extras. We have also had nachos and tacos - but our favorite is the burritos!
We had our roof replaced several years ago by Los Gatos Roofing Company. After having worked with various contractors on different projects in our house, it was SO refreshing to have a company show up when they said they would, give an accurate estimate of how long the job would take, clean up after their work was done, and do a good job!
They won't be the cheapest estimate you get, but believe me, the headaches you'll skip because you chose them are totally worth it. We will definitely use them the next time we need them, and definitely recommend them.
I have been seeing Dr. Schmidt for years for preventative care. He seems very knowlegeable and is patient with questions. He has removed some precancerous growths without leaving a scar.
His staff is professional and their billing practices are good. They seem to take a variety of insurance. I would definitely recommend him.
We were referred to Dr. Sun when our child was 4 days old. He got us right in and performed spinal surgery on our son when he was 5 months old. He is very good with kids, but also great with parents - explaining in detail what is going on. His nurse is his right hand woman and is approachable and available.
My child could have had major problems, but after surgery he is running around like any other child. We really feel that Dr. Sun saved our child's future. We can never pay him back for that!
It is definitely worth the drive to Oakland Children's Hospital if your child needs to see a pediatric neurosurgeon. He does his surgeries at CHO and we were very happy with that hospital.
The two dentists here - Shirin Hedayati and Dick Koo - are a husband and wife team. I have been seeing both of them for over 10 years. They are professional, gentle, have great hygienists, and their staff is great at billing and dealing with insurance companies. My husband and I have had a variety of work done there ranging from regular cleanings to gum surgery. We recommend them to all our friends. I have even taken my toddler to them for a 2nd opinion when his pediatric dentist recommended a procedure. They were great with him. When my children get older I'm sure they will come to this office, too.
