This grocery store is unique in that it offers a more Latin inspired foods and drinks. The service is amazing. Most store offer fresh tortillas which are made on the premises. The prices are cheaper than most grocery stores. My favorite is buying the chocolate covered strawberries, which are amazingly exquisite and cheap. They sell 3 chocolate covered strawberries for ONLY A DOLLAR! This is way better than those over priced chocolateirs.
Even though the name means number one quality produce, I feel that the produce doesn't have that quality. I recommend buying spices and nuts, including high quality almonds, pistachios, macadamian nuts and other assortments. The people are extremely helpful and will always help you look for anything that you might need.
This place doe offer a variety of produces in comparison to the grocery store like Vons and Ralphs, however, I have seen other places that offer more selections. The prices are a bit much too and the staff is so friendly at times if you are not Armenian. One upside is that they are open on Sundays, unlike most farmer markets.
IF you love fresh fruits and vegetables, this is the place to get them from, especially in the San Fernando Valley. The produce is fresh from the farmers and its reasonably priced. The market does get a bit messy and crowded, but they have enough help to always keep the produce stocked up and the lines moving. The also have great choices in meat.
Avalon is a hip club, the interior is extremely pretty. They have go-go dancers and hit DJs. A downside is that its extremely loud, louder than most clubs actually and when you come out your ears are still ringing
This place is dark and musky. Its either dead silent or its extremely loud with cross-gender entertainment. The live entertainment is sometimes enjoyable. The drinks are moderately priced. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place. Its a great place for those in the closet to come out and mingle.
They need more barbers because the ones they have are very slow. The wait is also very long. The place is kinda messy, but the prices are cheap. The one upside is that the people are very friendly.
This place is not so bad, however the lady is so rude. She charges $15 for eyebrow threading and she will not let you tell her how thick you want them. She makes the eyebrows way too thin. If you are okay with people just taking over, than you should go here, but if you are like me and want to have an opinion in what gets done...don't go here.
This driving school is okay, in that they understand you have to other things to do therefore will accomadate to you. They do incorporate comedy into their teachings. The price is reasonable, $35 for eight hours of schooling and a certificate.
This place is very clean. They play Indian music in the background and have comfortable arrangements. The food is exquisite. The malai kofta had the right blend of spices and it is recommended item of choice.
