I have been with Cevalo for about 10 yrs. I returned to riding after about 20 yrs and came to Cevalo when it was in Los Gatos on Hicks. I started out on the quieter horses and eventually moved up to the intermediate horses. One of the things I like about Cevalo is that being a part of the organization gets you involved with the hands on part. You are responsible for grooming and tacking up your horse and depending on your age, either the parents help the children or other students will. We have a lot of parents who start out just watching and end up being enthusiatic volunteers along with their kids.If your horse is out in pasture you will learn to catch it and bring it in. We are all volunteers so even though there is a work requirement most of us go above and beyond because we love taking care of our horses. We are able to show off our skills once a year in a schooling show and also once a year play games on horses in a gymkhana in the fall. Our junior drill team of 8 riders performed in the recent show along with the adult drill team who in previous years has won the state championship. The primary emphasis is on safety, education and skills. Our president will hold mini seminars on first aid, grooming, mucking and other activities. There are trail rides and birthday parties that are a lot of fun. There are instructors for the lead line kids all the way up to adult. We also had a recent Barn Makeover where the kids and adults got involved in painting all of the stalls. Some are very creative. Come by and visit and take a tour. If you love horses and just want to volunteer and not ride, that is fine too. We have many different breeds out there including mustangs, thoroughbreds, quarter horses, ponies, arabians, morgans. We even have two mothers and their fillies who have been growing up there and one of those and a young mustang are in training to become fine riding horses.
I have been using this company for about 20 yrs, usually the one on Pearl ave. It is really convenient for anyone having work done on their cars at the major dealers and the rates and service are good. You are not assigned a car, you get a choice if there are enough cars and the 50% weekend rate is great, renting a full size for the price of a compact . Recommend them highly. They will even pick you up and take you home.
Have been here many times over the years and loved the choices of pasta and the prices. A great place for families but just don't go at the really busy times. A very popular place with the tourists and the locals. Love the plate with the different types of sauces. Go go go, sphagetti lovers
went there for a big birthday and had a great time. Service was great, food great and atmosphere was great. We also went there post graduation and would recommend it to anyone.
have eaten there several times on my way to a game or other events at the arena. Service is quick, food is great and if you are a chocoholic then the hockey puck dessert is the best. A good deal pricewise, plenty of food and it is always busy. Go try it out.
