Thai Hiep Restaurant
This is a Thai restaurant, also serving Vietnamese food as well as some Chinese food. I was looking for a specific Thai dish, which I didn't see on the menu. I asked my waiter which dish might be similar, and he said it was no problem for the chef to prepare the dish I wanted. I was very pleased with my entree. Large portions, and inexpensive...I have found a Thai favorite in my neighborhood.
Bikesource
I really like this bike shop, as I'm a fan of large bike store with lots of inventory. Tucked away in a strip mall, this shop is worth seeking out. Lots of cool stuff, and a friendly helpful staff make it a good place to go for your biking needs.
Elevation Cycles
You you like the smaller bike shop, then this is the shop for you. Hidden away in a strip mall, this shop has limited inventory. Being small, it easy to locate what you need, without having to wander around aimlessly.
Faith Pharmacy
I'm not really a big fan of consignment stores, but this one is different -I like it. The times I have been there, it has been hit or miss with their inventory, but I did find my favorite boots there: Joan and David- never worn before and obviously at a fraction of the cost they would have been at the Joan and David retail store. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the store is large.
The Morrison Clark Inn
I stayed at this hotel for a few nights while in D.C. It is a nice, smaller hotel, with courteous staff. The rooms are nicely funished, but a bit small Only a few rooms in the hotel have two beds. It is located withing walking distance from the mall and White house, which was convenient.
Dusty Boot Saloon
It's nice to see a saloon in Beaver Creek amongst all the higher end establishments. I really like the atmosphere and decor of this bar/restaurant. It is a large place, good beers on tap (essential for a BC saloon), friendly staff...a very laid back establishment.
Sato Sushi
When thinking about where to go for good sushi, one probably wouldn't think of Vail (or the area), but this is one great sushi restaurant. We seem to have ordered one of everything when I went with a group of friends, and we ate everything in sight. Great atmoshpere , friendly knowledgable waitstaff add to this highly recommended restaurant.
Washington Park Grille
I can't speak for the food here, since it has been years since I've eaten here, but it is a nice place to go for a drink. Wash Park is certainly a good neighborhood, and the bar is quite nice. It seems to be pretty popular, so be prepared to be in lots of company!
Sushi Den
This is a great sushi restaurant in a nice neighborhood. The place may be a little on the trendy side, but the sushi is excellent! It is very popular, so do makje a reservation...and expect it to be on the noisy side...
Mataam Fez Moroccan
I love this place for a number of reasons. Their food is great -most of which you eat with your fingers (bonus). The decor is excellent, making you feel like you may very well be in Morocco! I like the fact that you can sit on the floor on big pillows and eat dinner. Then if you're there at the right time, there are the belly dancers who put on a great show. A must for something different in Denver.
