this place was clean and neat. We were interested in mostly Hawaiian shirts but found some cool hawaiian fabric here. The store was well stocked and the prices reasonable.
We set out looking for Hawaiian shirts in the thrifts around the island. We stopped in every thrift. This one was nice and clean and their prices reasonable - except all the Hawaiian shirts were high. Think they figured us tourist out?
We were here for about a week. We did have a lovely view of the mountain from our balcony. However, the hotel furnishings were not comfortable or luxurious. They didn't have king beds so they pushed two twins together and shoved something in the middle. Not my idea of romantic! We are use to a higher standard of hotel and next time we'll pay extra and stay in a real resort. The location is good and you can walk to many things. It wasn't all bad.
As a diamond member we were upgraded to a room with two balconies. We had a lovely view of the beach. We enjoyed walking around this hotel in the evening because each club had live music and you could hear it from the pathways. The service was great and the food good. There were lots of Japanese options mixed in with the American fair which made it interesting.
The place is full of antiques and crafts. I'm not a fan of crafts - at lesat no those made by others. I tend to turn away from shops that have too many crafts included with their antiques. I'll probably go back but not everytime I visit.
This place has great food and they have specials all the time. The owner /chef comes out to speak to you. They make you feel like you are family. You won't regret a trip here.
You can get a big bowl of beans here. They have home cooking and you may want to get breakfast here rather than go to the local chain places. Service was friendly.
There's better in the area. The food was ok but not special. The service was ok and the prices reasonable. Margaritas were good and chips and salsa ok.
Go for the pie. They make the best pies in the area. Heck maybe the best pies in the world. Many folks love their peanutbutter pie. I prefer one of their fruit pies or a banana cream pie.
This place has home cooked food. My grandmother liked coming here. I've been recently and what strikes me is that their prices are a little higher than other places of similar quality. Service is always friendly and fast.
