I've taken my truck to Thrifty Smog since I turned 16. I don't need an appointment, I just go in there early Saturday morning and I'm out in about 30 minutes. He's very trustworthy...and I still say that even after I failed last month!!!
Auto Accessories Of Clovis
Frank and his staff do the best job when it comes to your car's AC. Everytime I've had a problem he's got it solved quickly, and reasonable. They also do stereo installs and add power lock and windows. Great place.
Bentley's Drum Shop
Bentley's has been supplying me with drumheads and stick since they opened years ago. My grandfather only shops there because Dana's away been so nice to him.
Skee's Recycling Inc
I've used this place a couple times because it's near work, but everytime I go you have to basically remind the workers that they're AT work. Nobody seems to care that someone's there. I guess they hope you just drop off your stuff and let them nap.
Clovis Stone Masonry & Landscape Supply
I recently purchased some fill sand from them and it was alot easier than I anticipated. Since I only have a small truck, they let me pick it up in two loads, which I greatly appreciated.
Bobby Salazar's Mexican Rest
This place is a favorite of ours (my wife and I). Whatever I get usually fills me up pretty good. The workers could be a little friendlier, but overall, I keep coming back.
Crabby Bill's
My wife's family took me to this place in Florida and I loved it. The Spicy Blue Crab was awesome. And I also had alligator for the first time! Great gift shop too.
Fry's Electronics, Inc.
I live in the Central Valley, but whenever my family goes to the bay area to see the in-laws, I try to make a trip to Fry's. I wish they had one near me, but until then I'll keep shopping there.
Innerspace Industries Inc
Innerspace/Amrein's stone and glass made our granite countertops for our house. The quality of work is so much better than other companies I've seen. They may not be the cheapest, but the workmanship is worth it.
The Home Depot
I've personally rented from the Clovis HD rentals twice. Both times were for an 18" trencher I used to put in sprinklers. Both times the sales guys were entertaining and real helpful. Next time I have to rent a tool I'll be going there.
