What a wonderful place to eat! The food is absolutely delicious - truly Southern cooking with generous portions, attractively priced. But the fun part comes when you look around the restaurant and see the amazing panapoly of individuals who are also eating there - you see everyone from city administrators to musicians to working people. And the decor is truly eclectic. This is a don't miss experience!
If you want to have a good time, laugh out loud, and maybe dance a little - this is the place to go! A relaxed, happy atmosphere pervades the restaurant, with upbeat friendly staff and delicious food! And you never know what famous country music star you might spot at the next table!
Whenever a local Nashville paper has a contest for which restaurant has the best ____ fill in the blank - you will find Elliston's at the top of the list. The best milk shakes, the best cheeseburgers, the best service, etc. What a fabulous experience! It is truly a Nashville institution, and just a delight to visit. Worth many repeat visits.
What a delightful experience to dine at this restaurant! It is hard to know where to start. The building itself is just gorgeous, with a delightful view of downtown Nashville - if you can, go at nighttime so you can see the city lights! Then when you enter you are greeted by courteous and genuinely welcoming staff, who seem pleased and happy that you are there. Then once you actually sit down the experience just improves. The food - oh man - you can't beat the food. And the DESSERTS! Mmmmmmmm. This is definitely a restaurant to go to if you need a pick-me-up or just a special experience. You won't regret visiting this fine place.
When Darfon's first opened it was fabulous, and everyone wanted to eat there. It was a favorite gathering spot. What happened? Maybe the management changed? When you go there now the restaurant isn't very clean, the staff are uninterested, and the food is bland. What a shame - this could be a wonderful restaurant with a little investment of time and effort.
Ellendale's is located in a beautiful old home perched on a hillside with a gorgeous view. Driving up to the restaurant is a visual delight. Regrettably when you enter you find a crowded, unfriendly restaurant. The food is just okay, but it is amazingly overpriced. The buffet line is always crowded and often several items are empty. You leave with a feeling of regret.
Southeastern Dental Group is located in a strip mall in Madison, and from the outside doesn't look very impressive. When you walk in the door there is an unpleasant smell, but once you actually meet the staff you will be well pleased. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. The dental hygienists are excellent, very gentle but thorough. And the dentist seems quite competent and knowledgeable. The staff bring issues to your attention but don't push you to purchase dental care that you can't afford or that you're not emotionally ready to undertake.
Summit Primary Care is a group of doctors in Hermitage. I have visited both Dr. Mindy Hamby and Dr. Ernesto Vasquez. Both are excellent physicians, very careful and conscientious. Dr. Vasquez is bilinqual which is a nice plus, and Dr. Hamby is a huge animal lover.
The practice, however, is not well managed. Messages are not relayed promptly, and are generally relayed incorrectly. So if you have a problem outside of your office visit good luck getting direction or assistance.
Also, the Walk-In Clinic is a waste of money and time. It is neither convenient nor helpful. Save yourself the hassle and just wait for an appointment with your regular doctor.
I have visited this restaurant two times. The food is warm and plentiful, but mediocre quality. Lightly seasoned, and not as tasty as you might expect from a restaurant that markets itself as a family restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and personable, they made up for the so-so meal. The tables are too close together, so if you're not comfortable with crowding you may not like this restaurant.
It is in an old Shoney's building which has been renovated and updated.
This restaurant has moved to a new location. The food is okay, typical buffet food but probably not as good as a Golden Corral or a Ryan's. The price is much too expensive for what you get, and the staff were unfriendly and cold when I visited. The parking lot is usually packed, so it's probably not a good idea to go at peak times.
