This sign company does a great job! They do all kinds of signs for businesses, plus they also do vinyl graphics. They've done the signage for the subdivision I live in and it's held up very well. They've also done all the decals for my husband's stock car and do a great job!

I'd recommend Gunderson construction to anyone. They built a kennel for me at my home and did a great job. It was built correctly, finished on time, and met their estimate. They've also done construction work for the company I work for - and that work was done well, also.

I've never purchased a vehicle here, but have had assorted service work done. Each time, I've been happy with the job they've done. Their service staff is friendly and easy to deal with. They get the work done in the time frame they tell you they will.

This company is a good place to bring your vehicle if you need any sort of transmission repair. They also do total re-builds of transmissions. The employees are very skilled at what they do, and it is a reputable place to do business with. I recommend them!
Trail's Lounge Supper Club
Nice restaurant although hasn't been renovated for a while. The food is good and they have a very nice bar area that is a good place to sit and relax with friends.
Tamarack Pizza
The original part of this restaurant / bar is actually a very old train car -- very unique! It's been added on to, but is still a pretty small place. The food is GREAT and their homemade pizza is to die for - although you can only get it after 4 pm. They are located on the Wisc. River levee in downtown Portage - so after a big meal you can take a walk on the levee to relax. I love this place!
Spinning Wheels Skate Ctr
This is an old fashioned roller skating rink in Portage. I bring my grandchildren here to skate and we really have some fun times together. I'd recommend it to any family -- sure beats the violence in the movies!
Solterman Roofing Co Inc
Last year my neighbor's house had some extensive roof damage due to ice dams. They called Solterman Roofing and they came out and quickly made repairs for them. They were very happy with Solterman's.

Bill Smiley has been our attorney for a number of years and we've been very happy with him and his office. He's helped us with some zoning issues and also estate matters. He's very knowledgeable and nice to deal with. We'd recommend him!
Smart Woman
This is a small women's clothing store but they carry a wonderful variety of good quality clothes - both casual, dressy, and office. They also have a great selection of costume jewelry which makes it easy to accessorize when you buy. I can always find something I like when I shop here.
