Taste of India
This is a good place for grabbing a quick lunch or getting something to-go. The restaurant lacks ambience and just feels like a mom-and-pop fast food cafe, but the food is decent and the service is quick and friendly. I usually get the potato and vege curry, which is good and filling (I get two meals out of it.) Their samosas are quite good as are their mango lassies (sp?). They usually have a selection of about 5 or 6 dishes available. The food is good enough but not nearly as good as what I have in other (higher-priced) Indian restaurants
FreeSpirit Yoga
I first went to Free Spirit as a beginner who had never done yoga before. My experience there was outstanding. I took the prenatal class and loved it. I had a few different instructors and all were very good. Lonne was most frequently the teacher, and she was absolutely wonderful! They gave enough instruction/explanation for a beginner to follow, but not too much to slow down the class. The main room is very nice and has plenty of space. The staff was organized and helpful, and the overall vibe was very peaceful and positive. The onnly negative I can think of is that the upstairs room gets too crowded as does the waiting area, but that was just a minor inconvenience since most all of my classes were held in the main room.
Gallagher Chiropractic-Sports
Great choice for anyone with back pain, especially those who want to stay active. I saw a GP about chronic lower back pain and he just prescribed painkillers and muscle relaxants and told me to stop working out. Dr. Gallagher's approach was completely different and much more successful. I have never been to a chiropracter before this, but Dr. Gallagher came highly recommended, so I gave it a shot. I am so glad I did. After just a couple weeks of treatment, my pain has been dramatically reduced and I have been able to keep running. The office staff is very friendly and organized, wait times are minimal, and my whole experience here has been positive. I highly recommend them!
Kitchen Outfitters
This is a wonderful store for anyone who enjoys cooking or baking. I much prefer shopping here than at a large department store. They have a good selection of good quality items, but you don't waste much time wandering around looking for what you need. The staff is very helpful and knowledgable.
Boston Beer Works
I love the beer here. I usually am not a fan of fruity beers, as they are usually too sweet and syrupy, but the blueberry ale here is very drinkable and a must-try. Food is good, and the atmosphere is a lot of fun.
Dog Beach
This is a beautiful beach for people and their canine companions. The dog beach covers a good portion of beach, so your dog can really get a good run in. I also like that there is a good distance between the surf and the street, so I felt safe and didn;t worry about my dog running into traffic. There are always plenty of bags available for cleaning up, and people seem to keep it quite clean. My experience has always been that people and dogs are friendly and everyone has a great time.

I was a patient of Dr. Pinches for a few years. His care was adequate, but the office staff seemed incompetent, paperwork was always disorganized, and wait times were often long. After I had a miscarriage that required a d & c, which Dr. Pinches performed, I was left with severe scarring in my uterus. Even though the results were sent to Dr. Pinches, he never acknowledged the damage he caused.

I began seeing Dr. Mestman after being diagnosed with Graves Disease and hyperthyroidism. Unlike other endos I saw, Dr. Mestman was open to having me try meds instead of radiation treatment. I am now in remission and feel I owe this to Dr. Mestman's careful treatment. He spends a good amount of time with patients, is warm and friendly, and very knowledgable. I traveled to be treated by him from Orange County and always felt the quality of care he provided was well worth the drive. He is also specializes in treating endocrinological disorders in pregnancy and treated me through both my pregnancies, and I always felt I could completely trust his judgment.
Hansa Motors-Rv & Boat Stg
My husband and I had our cars taken care of for nearly 5 years by Hansa Motors and were always very satisfied with their work. They seem to be very honest and do good work and we never had to wait too long for repairs to be completed. The only reason we no longer go there is we moved. Highly recommend them. They specialize in foreign cars, but were happy to do work on my sad old Ford escort.
