Wingnuts, other wise known as Frank Ma's South, is a good little place to get some good wings, decent fries or Chinese food. Strange mix, I know, but their food is pretty good. Affordable and tasty!
I was a fan of Serendipity before the movie came out, so understand that people may go here due to the hype and be disappointed. The menu is not elaborate, but more like that of a dinner. The food is good. The place is really known for it's deserts though. unfortunately, since the movie, every tourist wants to try the place and the wait is long. Worth the wait if you value chocolate to any degree!
Wow, just read the first review and am very surprised. I have really enjoyed Le Cirque. Their food is wonderful, setting is fun and the owners are very warm and welcoming. I recommend it if you're looking for a memorable special occasion.
This is a great little bakery that appears to be a sleepy little neighborhood spot. They make wonderful cakes and deserts. they are very popular so a wait should be expected if you're just stopping in for cupcakes. They have a great cookbook too! i've used it quite a bit.
City Grill has an upscale menu, white linens, and nice bar and occasionally a long line. Makes for a fun night out with friends and not too terribly expensive for a nice meal on the upper west side.
Gramadi's not only offers great pizza for an affordable price, but the experience of walking the interesting area of BUMBO in Brooklyn. They are right by the water so the experience at night is beautiful. Expect to wait in line - the wait is worth it!
Patsy's pizza offers one of the best thin crust, brick oven pizza's I've ever had. Their toppings are fresh and authentic to what you really look for in great food.
Rain offers a wide variety of dishes, all of which I've dinned have been great. I love their ginger sesame salad dressing. It's a nice environment and not too busy. Great place for a more up-scale lunch or nice dinner.
This specialty/fine foods store is a great place to find wonderful treats, good meats & cheeses as well as a variety of hard to find items.
Their rice pudding is to die for!
I love Jacques chocolates and send everyone I know there. The chocolates is wonderful, the packaging beautiful, the atmosphere is fun and the people there are very nice.
The location in Brooklyn gives an experience right out of the movies!
