I have ordered imprinted invitations on several occasions from here, and they are perfect! I never get to see everything, but the selection of gifts is outstanding. I love the silver serving pieces!! She has gifts for just about any occasion you can imagine!!
I understand that the bakery has new owners; we haven't been since ownership changed because the hours also changed. We loved their brownies and cookies, and they were willing to do custom cookies on several occasions .. but pricey! We enjoyed eating lunch there, too.
I took several children for open play and was somewhat disappointed. The space seems rather small to have children running around. There was no supervision at all, which was quite stressful. I do not like disciplining other people's children, but my son was actually run over by an older boy, and I never did determine which parent was responsible for the child! The owners (?) corrected one child only after I had watched her for 10-15 minutes climbing over the side of the slide (this particular inflatable was directly in front of the entrance). The stuffed animals need to be moved. Price was a little high at $8/child.
We loved this place but found out recently they have closed. The owners were very friendly. It was an ideal location for the south side of town, too.
My husband takes the two children, and they absolutely love it. Ms. Linda showers attention upon them! My husband loves the biscuits, etc., and the children look forward to the vending machine tattoos if they're good during breakfast.
I have eaten here twice and both times I had a negative experience.
We first went here when my son was in diapers; when I asked about a changing table I was directed to use a dining table (despite the dirty diaper!). I reluctantly returned with my children; my daughter wanted a substitution for something on the kids menu and was ultimately charged for an adult-portioned meal. The food always seems re-heated but not quite long enough.
"Dr. Ben" as he calls himself to the children is absolutely wonderful. Several of his hygienists have window views that are almost breathtaking - watching hummingbirds drink from the feeders provides an enjoyable distraction. All of the staff are so personable. And Dr. Ben even checked my toddler's "bruised" teeth to calm my nerves and didn't charge!
We absolutely love this place and would go more often if we could afford it; the kids' meals are just so much! We also prefer their fried rice with that smoky bacon flavor, although I was just sure I wouldn't be able to tolerate it! This is my husband's new traditional birthday dinner. I like that they seat you immediately, but it is typical to have to wait for a complete table before they begin cooking.
The selection is very limited, but the plants always seem very healthy and colorful. The father lives next door, and his son offers landscaping and design services. Very nice people!
This store features many things other than just pharmaceuticals! A wonderfully extensive collection of grandfather clocks, sharing space with long display cases of fine jewelry. UGA and a fans of Southeastern collleges will choose from a huge array of collegiate items. The store also carries a sufficient supply of greeting cards and gift items to have something for that special someone. Parking is located in front and behind the store. The personnel are all very friendly.
