When building our home, we chose this retailer based on a recommendation from my sister. It became obvious that we were more knowledgeable about the product features; we had already visited the distributor's showroom and just had a few questions.
They were good about holding our appliances until we were ready for them and facilitated the application for the rebate.
The installation was a nightmare! We contacted them for a referral for an installer. When the guy showed up alone and then did shoddy work, I called the sales rep back. He commented that I shouldn't have used that guy and should have spoken to him; I had in fact asked for him, but he was unavailable and the receptionist provided the info in his absence. Regardless, they made no apologies or accepted any responsibility.
I was thoroughly disappointed overall with the lack of follow up. Despite spending $20,000 on appliances with them, they never communicated any gratitude for our business. We had been promised a class on caring for our appliances but the distributor's relationship with the mfr was severed between the time we placed the deposit and the appliances were delivered so we never received any personal service on using the appliances.
It's quite amusing to us that they extol their wonderful customer service on their website .. I guess it's subjective!
We have eaten here several times, and the food is terrific. However, don't go here if you're wanting quick service. You order at the counter, and it would be nice if they would make that obvious for the first-timer; however, mostly young girls work out front, so they obviously have never been trained to greet customers. Signage would work, too. It seems that most of the people who eat here are frequent visitors, so they are probably accumstomed to people being familiar with the menu, etc. They have been sold out of different things when we've been even though it was early. Our last visit we waited for almost 45 minutes for our order; the kitchen was apparently overwhelmed by a large order. The cookies are good if they still have them; so I would suggest getting one when you order your meal. Drinks are self-serve, so keep that in mind when you choose a table, especially if you are eating with young children you can't leave unattended. Overall pretty good but service needs tweaking a bit. Parking is parallel out front; dining on the sidewalk is available but hard to talk when cars are so close.
This is my son's favorite place to eat, mostly because they get a teacake! He is 2 and they treat him like a prince, even when he throws crayons. The owner's daughter is a doll! The food is always just wonderful; I love their chicken salad. My son loves the cream cheese sandwich, and they have other great treats on the kids' menu. The service is impeccable and the entire place is clean, inviting and spacious.
Dan Bullard is very bright and successful in his practice. All of the attorneys in his office meet his high standards and are very professional. Dan is a very caring, honest person. I highly respect him as a family man and have had the pleasure of knowing him on a more personal level due to my professional relationship with him. He is personable and grounded. If I had another legal issue, he would be the first person I'd call.
I would never use this attorney again. I actually reported him to the Bar and could not believe that they decided he was not guilty of unethical behavior - until I spoke with a paralegal who told me the Bar rarely reprimands its own. He provided another party with a copy of a document he executed on our behalf; one of his staff members in another office (he had two at the time) notarized my husband's signature after the fact and later another attorney lied that she was working for her at the time and just notarized the wrong signature. Ironically his signature had to be notarized for the lien to be recorded.
Fricks tried to act like he was helping us, but quite a few other attorneys I know in Middle GA shared stories about him after the fact. I employed Fricks since I knew him thru business and had referred all of my real estate business to his firm. He is dishonest to say the least and not highly-respected.
He even wormed his wife into our house we were about to sell saying she had someone who wanted to buy it; his wife just wanted to show it before anyone else did.
When we built our home, Top South was recommended to us. This was definitely not the closest place to our current or pending home. Our first impression was overwhelmingly positive, but we were were thoroughly disappointed with the communication during the process and completely irritated by the installation.
When the installers laid out all of the pieces, we realized that there was a problem with a piece. I volunteered to drop it off so that it would not delay the installation, which was an hour out of my way!
The holes for my faucet and soap dispenser were not drilled properly, and now the wall behind my faucet needs to be repainted after the damage they did replacing the piece.
The counter edges on either side of my cooktop are not symmetrical; after listening to the cabinet guy and service manager pass blame I gave up!
We were not provided with the materials to care for the granite; when I dropped by to purchase some, the receptionist told me I should have been given a set upon installation.
No one ever called to make sure we were pleased with the repairs. We certainly didn't feel as though our business was appreciated. We have beautiful granite countertops, though; just too bad the experience could not have been more pleasant!
I hopped in the car one day determined to find a great children's store, and I was not disappointed when I realized this wonderful find was closer than I thought! The Pink Crocodile was definitely worth the 45-minute drive. I have always found exactly what I was looking for, which was usually at the very last minute. I have purchased outstanding outfits for both of my children and have been very pleased with the quality and the service. Both of the owners are so welcoming and will be glad to do what they can to help you find what you need. I love this place!
One of the newer places to eat but you have to know it's there to find it - it's part of a new development that is behind a grocery store and drugstore. I've had several items that I really like - the chicken salad is truly one of the best. My favorite among the entrees are the pork chops with the red potatoes (fried chunks) and sauteed green beans. The salads are very good. The bread is not my favorite. Service is exceptional to less-than-average, depending on the server; I highly recommend Seth if he is there. Management is virtually invisible, so you have to depend on the hosts with any problems. The service is the only reason I wouldn't highly recommend this place; we've had two bad experiences that could have been avoided with properly trained staff and/or more hands-on service from the owner. The prices are reasonable, and we have always felt our meals were worth the money!
This is one of the best places I've eaten since living in North GA. Served cafeteria style, this charming establishment is anything but a cafeteria! Everyone is so friendly, you feel as though you're their best customer. The food is absolutely wonderful - fresh vegetables and meats - and piled on the plate so you'll be stuffed when you leave. BUT, you also get dessert, which you won't want to miss. For one very reasonable price, you get your drink, salad, soup, bread and everything they can pile on the plate, along with your dessert. Only downside is that we found out the hard way they aren't open for dinner anymore :- ( Truly one of the best. And they also cater. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! The decor makes you feel as though you're dining at your grandma's house, too.
Dr. Warren was highly recommended by a colleague who delivered my first child; we moved so I had to find a new doctor. Dr. Warren is very approachable and has a great personality, which is needed when dealing with anxious pregnant women! I can't say enough about him - I just love him. He was very understanding when I had concerns about office issues. My son was such an easy delivery!
I would rate him 5 stars, but his office manager needs to be replaced!
