In a nutshell, he will spoil you and ruin you for all other photographers. He does excellent work both on the sets (which are works of art) and with the camera. The only downside is that his talent comes with a price; save up because you will definitely cherish the photos forever. We have quite a few of his works; he prints all of his own photos which means true color quality and perfection of the images. Check out their baby plan - less than $40 for four sittings during the baby's first year; you will receive one image of your choosing from each sitting which will be matted (and framed possibly - don't quote me on that one!). That alone is a wonderful deal!!!! He also offers a special for newborns and moms. His work is hanging around town in various boutiques and stores. They are breathtaking and definitely unique! Tell them the Parkers sent you!
Tucked in to a small space is a wonderful children's shoe store! New owners bought the store last summer and have continued the tradition of offering the best quality children's shoes on the market.
Only downside is they are closed on Monday! Check them out when shopping for children's shoes. Child-friendly with toys and books. They host trunk shows of children's clothing (esp. Chez Ami) during the year, which is a great time to shop for great clothes and matching shoes! Make sure to get on their email list so you'll know when the sales are, too!
We eat here when we get bored with everything else. Every time we have been, we have had to wait forever for our food. I think the kitchen just can't keep up. The restaurant is rather large, which makes it popular for groups of people. It has been there forever so it is well-known. Most people rave about their salad, but I've had better. I usually just get a steak sandwich since other things I've gotten are not necessarily consistent. My husband gave the steak a nod, but ironically did not like the pizza at all - the meat was processed, not what we expected at all. The kids love the cinnamon butter for the rolls; the cheese biscuits are good when they are warm. We got cobbler, and it wasn't so great; the homemade ice cream was not wonderful.
We've eaten here twice and both times we had bad service; the place was virtually empty on one of our visits. The food is average. Great location, though and ample parking.
We only go here when my daughter begs, and fortunately that isn't very often. First, the service is so slow. Forget about eating here on your lunch hour. Frankie never seems to have enough help, which is probably why she seems stressed all of the time. On to the food, the sauce is way too spicy and not spicy hot. It is rich and too pungent with the flavor of herbs and spices. The bread is pretty good. But I always debate what I want to get because I've never had anything that I have cravings for. The chicken salad is usually decent. The lasagne is fairly good but I never finish it because of the sauce; I get tired of it.
Frankie is trying to sell, which would be a great location for a restaurant for someone with better people skills, She has been rude to too many people in town, so much of her business comes from cyclists riding the trail.
Dee Evans recently purchased this existing business and has been working overtime to make it even better than it was before. He is busily purchasing new inventory but can barely keep it in the store. He has impeccable taste and a very talented staff of designers that will create anything you desire. Friendly service and a growing selection of stylish decor! Stop in on Sunday, Nov. 9 for his first open house.
This old farmhouse is the perfect atmosphere for families! The steaks are undoubtedly the best seasoned I've ever had. The salad dressings are freshly-prepared and salads are always crisp with potato sticks on top. The stir fry, fried/grilled shrimp and grilled chicken (onions, peppers and white cheese on top) are great choices for entrees, too. Choose from baked potato, sweet potato, fries, steamed vegetables and rice. The sweet tea and basket of garlic breadsticks will keep your hunger under control. Desserts are awesome - homemade cheesecake, fried cheesecake (enough for two) and brownies are absolutely wonderful. Children's meals for kids - grilled cheese, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken fingers and flat iron steak always please my children. The servers are the best of any restaurant we've ever been to - ask for Tera, Hailey, Jessie or Amy for outstanding service.
